I decided to put the sub-headline up there because there seems to be a growing tendency by some readers to stray far from the discussion an article is supposed to generate. My primary rule, since I tend to moderate my own articles, is to try to stay on topic. The other day I wrote a Hub about high gas prices as they relate to Obama and several users came on and went all over the place with deflection. That is what it is when one does that and nothing more - deflection. So lets play by the rules of basic blogging and one of the primary rules is to stay on topic. The subject matter of this Hub is akin to the link but a bit different, but it remains on the lack of good energy policies and Obama. He said he was going to cut the price of gasoline and that has not happened because he had no intention of that happening. It was just empty campaign rhetoric. It sounded good. So off we go...

High Fuel Prices And Obama
Rising fuel prices are becoming a crisis. This article focuses on how the Obama administration's energy policies have purposely caused a large part of this dilemma.
There are a number of factors that are contributing to what we are seeing at the pump these days and the lack of a sound energy policy by this administration is right up there at the top of the list. When your energy policy is geared toward making the cost of all energy more expensive then that is what you will see and that is exactly what we are seeing. I had to gas up yesterday as I went to work and my wallet went into spasms.
What I can't figure out is how, or why, Obama can claim there is nothing he can do about rising prices. That just isn't true because the policies he has implemented since taking office and the things he has failed to do have been a contributing factor to rising energy prices. At this point I ask that you take a close look at the graphic below and note the details. Those are FACTS and specifics. Those are the result of what Obama has, or hasn't, done to insure your energy dollars stretch as far as possible. Right now they are blowing big holes in my budget. Yes, unlike the federal government I live on a budget.
Just The Facts
There may be nothing he can do about it now. It is what he has done, or failed to do, that has led us to this point now. Yes, there are other contributing factors but hi9s pursuit of chasing windmills with his green initiatives by purposely stifling domestic oil production is key. When you have the Secretary of Energy, Steven Chu, publicly states and I quote, "Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the cost of gasoline to the levels in Europe," how can anyone say that what is contained in the chart above is accidental by this administration? That is exactly what Obama wants to see happen so that he can convince the American public that he has to squander our tax dollars trying to pick the winners and losers in the energy supply field. That is his agenda and those on the left can deny it all they want. He is practicing crony capitalism to the max. Do they get that too and want to deny that also?
Now according to Obama there isn't anything he can do to relieve the crisis while real experts on the subject disagree with Obama and his elitist left wing snob crowd. Yes, I did say snobs. Here's an interesting link that lists ten (10) things that should be done and done now. I won't list them here as I know you can read the link. but the concepts there are usually known to be sound, proven concepts.

The facts are that from 2009 through 2012 oil production is down by 120 million barrels. Permits issued for Gulf of Mexico drilling are at an all time low. As the chart shows drilling plans being approved by this administration are down 23% just during the last two months. Do the math. If the historical average is 73% what is wrong with that picture? The facts are that Obama nixed the Keystone Pipeline saying there wasn't enough time to study the impact when impact studies have been going on for years. Did he fool you with that lie? Everything is pointing downward when you plug in this administration's energy policies but the price of fuel and petroleum products which are skyrocketing. And here we have an empty suit sitting up there as the President of the United States shrugging his shoulders and telling the nation there is no silver bullet to solve the problem. There is no silver bullet and I will agree with him on that. What there should be, and there isn't, is a sound domestic energy policy that will insure our nation is as close to being as self-sufficient, if not self-sufficient, in meeting our near term energy needs without busting the wallets of the consumer in the process.
We Need Sound Leadership, Not Silver Bullets.
Let me close with this video which is a real eye opener. Of course, as I found out the other day from a reader, this expert in the field who only has a PhD in the subject he is discussing doesn't know what he is talking about. I had to consider the source since I hear Obama say that about people all the time too. It seems to now be part of the left wing lexicon.

HEY BOEHNER:
House oversight committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa and House Speaker John Boehner claim reports they are moving to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress soon — and reports claiming they are working together to do so — are inaccurate.
CBS News and the Los Angeles Times reported Friday morning that Boehner had green-lighted Issa’s plans to hold Holder in contempt of Congress over Operation Fast and Furious. Holder’s Department of Justice has provided only about 7,000 of the more than 70,000 pages of documents Issa has subpoenaed related to Operation Fast and Furious.
Issa and many others on Capitol Hill have threatened for months that they will hold Holder in contempt without actually doing it. This contempt citation — whose existence was confirmed on Fox News Friday afternoon by Issa — is the first official step in moving forward with contempt proceedings.
After the initial reports, a House Republican leadership aide told The Daily Caller that the LA Times and CBS reports were inaccurate. The GOP leadership aide said that “while there are very legitimate arguments to be made in favor of such an action [holding Holder in contempt], no decision has been made to move forward with one by the Speaker or by House Republican leaders.”
Initially, a spokesperson for Issa refused TheDC’s request for comment. But just hours after TheDC published a story detailing the appearance of infighting between Issa and Boehner, a House oversight committee spokesperson backed off and said the LA Times and CBS reports were inaccurate as well.
“The Justice Department has not fully cooperated with the investigation into gunwalking that occurred in Operation Fast and Furious,” the committee spokesperson told TheDC. “The House Oversight Committee continues to make necessary preparations to hold Attorney General Holder in contempt if the Justice Department refuses to change course and stop blocking access to critical documents.”
“While the committee continues to move toward consideration of contempt, it is important to note that the next step in the process of contempt must be made by the Oversight Committee,” the spokesperson added. “Reports, based on anonymous sources, that decisions for consideration of contempt on the House floor have already been made are inaccurate.”
To actually effectively hold Holder in contempt, Issa would need House GOP leadership to play ball. At this point, it appears as though Boehner is only partially in his court.
If Issa does get the green light, it appears as though he’s going to make his moves around Memorial Day or shortly thereafter. During an appearance on Fox News Thursday night, South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy — a member of the House oversight committee who’s been close to this investigation — said Memorial Day is Holder’s deadline.
“Before Memorial Day, Eric Holder will either comply or he will suffer consequences,” Gowdy said. “When I say consequences, I mean contempt of Congress.”
Not one government official has been held accountable for Operation Fast and Furious. Scores of elected officials — 125 House members, three U.S. senators, two governors — and many major political figures, including presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, have demanded Holder’s resignation or firing over Fast and Furious.
Boehner has not called for Holder’s resignation, nor has he been vocal about Fast and Furious with the exception of a few statements that he backed Issa’s push for accountability. Some have speculated that Boehner put the brakes on Fast and Furious accountability momentum building late last year into early this year but Boehner’s staff vehemently denies those accusations.
Update 3:44 PM: Ranking Democratic Oversight committee member Rep. Elijah Cummings accused Issa of political motivations with the contempt proceedings and called for him to release the contempt citation draft to all Oversight committee members.
“Holding someone in contempt of Congress is one of the most serious and formal actions our Committee can take, and it should not be used as a political tool to generate press as part of an election-year witch hunt against the Obama Administration,” Cummings wrote.
Cummings has claimed he supports the investigation into gunwalking but has continually refused to say whether he thinks Holder should provide the tens of thousands of pages of subpoenaed documents he’s thus far failed to supply to Congress.
There is an ongoing document production currently taking place.

Introduction
The last time I visited the Atlanta Zoo was likely back in the late-1990s for a "Newt's Birthday" event where his campaign supplied delicious Varsity burgers and hotdogs.
On Saturday, April 14th, I actually felt like I was at the Zoo...complete with howling wild animals, some of whom, quite honestly, acted like a pack of wild hyenas (in particular, many obnoxious, "crazy-eyed" members of the Henry County GOP). Heck, I think that if hyenas had been anywhere near that convention hall, they would have sat down and watched in silent awe at what their human counterparts were engaged in...and they would have been taking copious notes.
No matter what I had heard over the past few years concerning the craziness of the Henry County GOP, nothing could prepare me for the sheer lunacy of witnessing...truly...truly disturbed people thinking they could act the way they acted, and likely think that the way they acted would be considered "normal" to the rest of the civilized world.
Now, I remember being told when I was growing up that children who are the by-product of incestuous people (e.g., a brother and a sister from the same family mating) turnout to be kinda screwed-up mentally. Maybe this would go a long way to explaining the insanity of the minds that occupy the Henry County GOP.
And, yes, of course, this could just be an old wives' tale, but something truly weird is going on in the Henry County Republican Party. I mean, let's look at the public record of what happens when some of these weirdos poke their heads out into the public spotlight:
1) Former Gubernatorial Candidate Ray McBerry: Accused by Linda Pittman in 2010 of being a "child molestor," McBerry sued Pittman for libel. Pittman's attorney, in arguing the case, told the judge that, essentially, "given McBerry’s low reputation in the community, the former candidate for governor qualified as a 'libel-proof plaintiff.' " Case dismissed.
2) State Representative Steve Davis agreed to a consent order to pay $300 in fines to the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission for failing to disclose companies he owned.
I attended the April 14, 2012 13th CD convention as a guest. Sitting a couple of chairs over from me was a young pregnant woman who was also attending as a guest, and she had never, ever attended any type of convention. And we struck-up a conversation, and I explained to her what the convention was all about and why it was happening, and how everyone in 13 other places all over the state were having a similar convention, etc.
So, as the convention got crazier and crazier, and totally-out-of- control people yelling at the convention chair (some of whom were not qualified to actually be on the floor yelling because they were either guests or alternates...and then they got told by the convention chair "Okay, you go to the back of the room for a cooling-off period and if you make another sound, the deputies will escort you out")...in a complete cacophony of chaos...this young woman made this observation to me: "My goodness. My 8-year old daughter acts better than these people."
To be quite honest, based on what I witnessed at that convention on the 14th, I think a whole classroom full of 8-year old girls armed with cans of Silly String and Cheese-Whiz could not have come close to creating as much noise and havoc as the adults who came to that convention (primarily from Henry County, and one troublemaker in particular from Cobb County) with the sole purpose and mindset to disrupt and take over the convention.
So, now that you've all consumed the appetizer of this edition of the Political Vine, I'll get to the description of events as I saw them unfold, as well as some background info at specific points that I know about, and some other things I have talked to Sahar and some others about after the convention to fill-in some information gaps.
Blow-by-Blow
I arrived at the convention building at about 9:20 AM. It was a bright, beautiful morning, and there was a line of people waiting to get in, and I got in line. While waiting in line I made note of two security guards outside, located several yards away from me talking to someone who was holding a bunch of papers. I found out later that these were two off-duty Henry County police officers working for the 13th Congressional District to help make the event secure for everyone.
Their job was to make sure that there was order, as apparently there were several people associated with either Henry County GOP or Cobb County GOP trying to shove papers in people's hands and declaring that they were "going to takeover the convention and throw Sahar out."
But, even before convention day, people like Vikki McReynolds of Henry County had been holding conference calls with people in Henry County, and elsewhere in the 13th CD and talking, talking, and talking all about their BIG plans to takeover the convention and "get Sahar."
Now, just as an aside here, if you ever plan an overthrow of a convention, or, you know, a small country, the general rule of thumb is that you don't advertise about it before you actually initiate an action to do so. But, as I stated before, people involved in the Henry County GOP are kinda crazy...and, by being kinda crazy, that pretty much means they ain't none too smart neither (sic).
Dawn Strickland of Cobb County had been as busy as a beaver talking to a lot of people in Cobb trying to get them on her side to join the "coup" to 1) takeover the convention, and 2) to elect their people as 13th CD chair and officers...even though, one would think, that after the 12+ years of involvement in party politics that Dawn Strickland has been involved in, she would know that the election for district chairs only occurs in the odd-numbered years. But, maybe Dawn ain't none too bright either (sic).
OH!!!...speaking of Dawn, this seems as good a time as any to relay a little story that will inform those of you who have no idea of who Dawn is: Back in late Fall of 2011, when the districts were being reorganized, Dawn was on a tear to try and become 13th district chair. In her power-hungry search for votes in advance of the reorganization meeting, Dawn went so far as to attend the funeral service of the husband of a 13th CD committee member (Wanda Tschudy, who had been happily married to her husband for many years)...
...AND Dawn went to the cemetery with all the bereaved attendees, including Wanda ...AND...upon Wanda walking back from the grave site, Dawn was observed walking hurriedly to catch-up to Wanda, placed her arm thru her elbow to (I'm guessing) feign concern and to start telling Wanda (who...had...just...lost...her...husband) whatever Dawn could dream-up to tell her to convince the poor widow to sign-over her voting proxy AT THE CEMETERY to Dawn.
And, sure enough, Dawn was observed whipping-out a pen and a piece of paper that was later identified to be the proxy she so desperately sought.
When Wanda was asked later about why she signed the proxy, Wanda could only say something like "I could not even believe she was there. I did not know who she was, and she would not stop talking and leave me alone, so I just signed over the proxy to get her to leave me alone."
THAT, Ladies and Gentlemen, is Dawn Strickland of Cobb County, a woman who will tell you in one moment about how "Christian" she is, and in the next moment, you feel this searing pain in your back as you realize she stuck a knife right between your shoulder blades.
Oh, and the proxy she obtained from Wanda? It did her no good as Sahar won reelection as district chair.
Okay...back to the events on April 14th. There were two off-duty Henry County policemen there, as well as two Cobb County Sheriff Deputies there. Now, all four folks were there on behalf of, and paid for by, the 13th CD committee. NO taxpayer dollars were used.
After Sahar and her committee learned of all the chatter in the district of how the opposition was going to "takeover" the convention, Sahar knew that she had an obligation to make sure there was no trouble (or, worse, a riot) at her district's convention.
Speaking as a non-combatant (I was just a quiet-as-a-mouse guest), I have to say that the arrangement worked-out quite nicely. The Henry County officers took care of security in the foyer of the convention hall and outside the building, while the sheriff deputies were in charge of security inside the convention hall.
On the tables outside the convention hall were stacks of the convention agenda, convention rules, a copy of what looked like an appeal to the Henry County GOP convention that had happened a month before, and maybe some other stuff as well. So, let's go to the meeting:
1) Meeting called to order sometime shortly after 10:00 AM by Sahar Hekmati, 13th Congressional District Chair.
2) AG Sam Olens introduced as speaker and he proceeds to speak for 10-15 minutes. (For the record, Olens was originally scheduled on the Agenda to appear after the Pledge, after the invocation, and after the National Anthem was sung, but in talking to Sahar afterwards, the schedule had to be changed because Olens asked her if he could go first because he had other conventions to visit that day)
3) Pledge of Allegiance
4) Bedlam happens: Bedlam happens at this point because, while the invocation was on the agenda, the person who Sahar had designated prior to the convention to lead the invocation (a lady who had actually written the invocation in preparation for doing this task) was not in the convention room at the time when the invocation was supposed to happen.
So, Sahar attempted to skip to the next item on the agenda and she did not get 5 words out of her mouth before some yahoo woman from the Henry County delegation (later I found out her name was Kathy Gilbert) in the back-left of the convention hall (I was sitting in the back-right of the convention hall as you look toward the podium, so I had a clear view of what was happening) stood-up and pointed out to Sahar that she missed the invocation.
Just to give you folks on the appeals committee context, the lady was someone who was one of the troublemakers with the Henry County GOP who had participated in the 2+ years of a campaign to verbally terrorize Sahar, and, so when she stood-up and made the comment about the invocation, I suspect that what was going on in Sahar's mind at that moment was that the woman was just trying to be the same pain in the ass she had been to Sahar before the convention, and Sahar just wanted to shut her down immediately.
In fact, since the video of this moment of that day, if shown by itself, would show Sahar acting like someone very cold and, as some have described her, a "bully", it is actually imperative in this discussion for me to segue to a focused discussion on Sahar and her experiences over the past 2+ years with the Henry County GOP Thugs. And, because the story is incredibly complex, you're just going to have to follow my personal path to understanding it.

Sahar vs. Henry County GOP Thugs
Back in April-May timeframe of 2010, through a series of Facebook conversations I had been having with Sam Fleet of the Republican Women of Henry County, I was invited down to attend one of their meetings one night. I got introduced personally to Sam, then to Vicki Temple, and Jennie Mae Hill, and some other women.
Through that time I spent with them that evening, I learned of their problems with a woman named "Sahar." And, I listened and felt, quite frankly, that they were telling me the truth about Sahar, and about how "evil" she was and all the bad things they claimed she did.
A week or so after that evening, I recall Sam Fleet sending me an email that had a "criminal history report" contained in it, supposedly of Sahar's history of living in Houston and being charged with several crimes, etc.
Because I have a background in political research, I asked Sam where she got this information that she emailed me? Sam told me it was via one of those online "background report" service websites.
I told her "Sam, as much as this report may appear to be accurate about Sahar, it might not be." It might not have been accurate, Ladies and Gentlemen, because those online research services compile huge sets of data taken from sources that may or not be correct in their sources of data.
In any case, some time later during that year, Sahar introduced herself to me via asking me to be her Facebook friend. And, as I recall, I accepted, and started observing what she did and what she said on Facebook, always with the cautious thought in the back of my mind that this woman, Sahar, was a bad person.
Somehow, I got into an emailed discussion with Sahar about some subject...and that conversation led to more conversations about all sorts of different topics (mostly political-related)...and, then, at one point, when she said she had lived in Georgia for some number of years, I broached the subject of "Wait, Sahar. You mean you've never lived in Houston, Texas?"
And, she did the "lol" on Facebook and said "No...why do you ask?" And, then I got into the discussion of what I had seen from what Sam Fleet had sent me regarding a woman named "Sahar Hekmati" who lived in Houston who had a criminal history.
And...through several discussions I had with her online, I discovered that her Tax ID had actually been stolen by someone who lived in Houston. And that is how her name got associated with some crook in Houston.
AND...since I know, from personal experience last year in arguing with fools like Sam Fleet and Vicki Temple about Sahar (and their subsequent hatred of Sue Everhart because Sue would not intervene in their private war with Sahar), that some people are just TOO stupid to believe such things are possible, here is a picture of the letter Sahar received in July 2011 from the IRS's Taxpayer Advocate Service explaining the fact that the IRS had reconciled the issue of someone else filing taxes under Sahar's Tax ID#.
Now is where we have to back-up in this story to a point approximately 2 years prior to July 2011 so you'll kind of understand why it was that people like Vicki Temple, Sam Fleet, Charles Mobley, and whole slew of other people of the Henry County Republican Party who spent their time researching Sahar's past, and appearing to find a "history" of legal wrongdoing (which, trust me, I will soon obliterate all of their claims soon enough, if I haven't already started that process with the copy of a letter from the Taxpayer Advocate Office on Sahar's experience of getting her Tax ID stolen by a crook living in Houston, Texas)
So...sometime in the Summer of 2009, a woman named "Ali Gelineau" of the Republican Women of Henry County decided, on her own, to initiate a fundraiser to help Sahar. At that time, Ali and Sahar were friends.
The fundraiser for Sahar was to help Sahar for something connected to her brain tumor. Now...before I continue, I can hear the moans and the sighs and the expressions of disbelief from the idiots of Henry County GOP (including, for some bizarre reason, I hear Ben Fry of Casey Cagle's office thinking out loud "Bullsh*t...Sahar has no brain tumor...after all, my best friend Billy Kirkland is the most smartest guy I know and he says she has no tumor"), and, just to let you "disbelievers" know, there actually is proof online about Sahar's tumor, and it being diagnosed, and about the surgery that was to be performed, along with other information regarding her life at the exact moment in time of when this tumor was discovered. AND...keep this ALL in mind as you read the story of Sahar's brain tumor: All this happened in 2007, long before she found out about Republican Party politics, so, to those idiots (and, yes, there will still be idiots after this presentation of facts) who are going to mutter that "Oh, this was fabricated...she knew that she was gonna get into politics so she traveled back in time to get some guy to write a story about her and pre-date the news story by 2 years and that's how this got on the Web." Yeah, People of the Georgia GOP, there are people involved in the Henry County GOP who are so stupid, they would likely believe such a thing could be done (Vicki Temple and Vickki McReynolds come to mind as a few examples).
Now, back to Ali's "gesture" in initiating a fundraiser that Sahar knew nothing about until it was already in process and planning by Ali.
From what I recall from the facts and figures that Sahar talked to me about, a total of something like $2000 (or thereabouts) was raised to help Sahar in some endeavor related to her brain tumor.
For this fundraiser that Sahar did not ask for in the first place, after the fundraiser, Ali went to Sahar and said "I've got $1200 worth of out-of-pocket expenses that I need to be reimbursed for. Can I have a check?"
And, Sahar, who apparently has had some training in the tax accounting world, responded to Ali with "Well, do you have receipts for this $1200? I cannot just cut you a reimbursement check without receipts that you spent the money."
And then, a back-and-forth discussion ensued whereupon Sahar got to the point where she agreed to issue a check for $450 to Ali (without receipts from Ali), but told Ali that unless she could come-up with the $750 in receipts from her supposed "out of pocket expenses", Sahar could not cut her a check.
AND...first Sahar issued Ali a check for $450.00 (see copy of check here). But, then, Ali came back to Sahar and said "I need a money order for this, not a check" and Ali gave this check back without cashing it. And then Sahar went and got a money order for Ali.
[One has to ponder why it is that Ali did not want a check, but insisted on a money order....hmmmmm....]
Anyway, THAT disagreement was the initiation of the Hell that Sahar has had to suffer through with the morons of Henry County.
Also...one has to wonder if maybe Ali's true intentions of the "fundraiser for Sahar" was not to actually "help" Sahar, but help line her own pockets, and when Sahar didn't just fork over money without receipts, that enraged Ali to the point of fabricating all the lies she has made to others.
So, because Sahar didn't want to break a law (or, whatever rule of tax accounting she was familiar with) Ali, using what, somehow, passes for "charm" in the world of hyenas (and, I met this woman for the very first time on April 14th at the convention, and she asked me "Why have you never written about me?"...well, I hope she's satisfied with her name appearing in the Vine now), proceeded to whisper fabrications about Sahar to all the other women and men in the Henry County GOP...and she turned all these people against Sahar at once.
And, when I say "turned against her", what I mean is beginning a systematic pattern of verbal abuse directed right at Sahar over a period from Sep-October 2009 time period through today of:
1) Accusing her of being an "Islamic terrorist" in Henry County GOP meetings.
2) Calling her home phone number and verbally harassing her and her husband to the point where he had to cancel the phone.
3) Accusing her of being a "Muslim terrorist" (when, in fact, she is a Christian who converted some time ago, and, in doing so, she set-up quite the challenging relationship with her father who remains a follower of Islam because he and Sahar came here to America from Afghanistan)
4) Treating her like absolute sh*t in everything she wanted to do for the Republican Party.
5) Pulling incorrect "criminal background reports" on Sahar and irresponsibly spreading falsehoods ALL over the state and to the National Federation of Republican Women about Sahar.
6) Discovering a "bankruptcy" that Sahar and her husband had to file in the mid-2000s, and using the information contained therein to proceed to attempt to maliciously destroy her integrity to anyone they could find to do so, whether a person knew Sahar or did not know Sahar. Sort of a "poisoning of the well" far in advance of anyone actually meeting Sahar to find out about her firsthand, these rabid hyenas with the Henry County GOP (all led quietly in the background by the most rabid hyena of them all, Ali, to continually stir-up the pack of hyenas to act against Sahar at every turn possible) would talk so much bad sh*t about Sahar that anyone who was as weak-minded as these yahoos in Henry County GOP would fall for the lies with no questions asked.
AND...this bankruptcy is the final item I am going to discuss with y'all because, while Sahar does not really want the reasons for the bankruptcy to be known (because, as she says to me often, "it's none of anyone's business, I just want to be left alone to be able to do my work in the Republican Party"), I feel it is necessary to do to educate so many uneducated people in the Republican Party in Henry County and in Georgia who are, literally, too stupid to understand that 1) filing a bankruptcy is not a crime, and 2) not everyone who files a bankruptcy came to that decision with the ease in which people who have never filed a bankruptcy think people who file bankruptcies come to.
On October 20, 2004 at 3:44 PM, Sahar gave birth to a baby boy named Zachary Adam Dorsey Guyton. Two months prior to that birth, Sahar and her husband, Aaron, were told by the doctor that he discovered 7 months into the pregnancy that Zachary had a congenital heart defect...something regarding the left-ventricle, I believe.
He was born with this defect...and, he lived for 20 days until November 9, 2004. In his short life, he was attached to some sort of machine he needed to keep his heart pumping. Here is a picture of Zachary hooked-up to the machine.
And, here's a picture of Sahar feeding Zachary (since, you know, idiots like Vicki Temple, Charles Mobley, Ali-The-Lying-B**ch, the "Rev." Bill Herndon, and others will likely tell people that both I and Sahar are lying about this child that Sahar had).
AND...since, again, there are pathological liars in Henry County (e.g., Charles Mobley) who, in spite of all this evidence, would likely claim "Oh, that kid's still around...", here is a picture of the condolence letter sent to Sahar and Aaron by the doctor at Sibley Heart Center Cardiology expressing his condolences about being out of town when Zachary passed on.
NOW...for the 20 days in which Zachary graced Sahar and her family's life with his ever-so-tiny beating heart, the medical costs for the devices and care Zachary required to live cost something close to the vicinity of $50,000 to $100,000 per day...and, those bills ended-up as a $1,000,000 debt they owed the medical facility.
AND...they tried to pay back the medical costs for all of 2005...and, it got to a point where they decided that, either they could keep shoveling money out the door to pay the medical bill debt, money that could be used to raise the living children Sahar had, or, they could file bankruptcy and get free of the medical debt, and be able to use the money to support the lives of their living children. So, they decided to file bankruptcy.
And, again, Sahar did not want me to reveal all this information as this ordeal with Zachary hurt her terribly at the time, and hurts her to this day, and when I called to discuss this with her yesterday, she was broken-up over the phone as I asked her questions.
And, in the writing of this part of this issue of the Vine, I choked-up as I imagined what Sahar had to go through with losing her child...suffering through that hell was bad enough...but, to then have to deal with the ********* hell that these supposed "Christians" in the Henry County GOP have put her through emotionally and psychologically?
People like Ali Gelineau, Dawn Strickland, Kathy Gilbert, Mike Eddy, Vicki Temple, Charles Mobley, Bill Herndon, Vikki McReynolds, et al. are nothing but pathological liars.
Herndon is so stupid of a liar that he LIED to the 13th CD Credentials Committee about never having seen the appeal filed against the Henry County Convention that happened about a month prior. Then, when the Credentials Chair challenged him on the fact that Herndon had actually held a copy of the appeal in a Henry County GOP meeting a couple of weeks prior, and addressed it to everyone in attendance at that meeting, all Herndon told the 13th CD Credentials Committee on April 14th was "Well, you can't do anything about it anyway. You got no power." (Oh, and did I tell you that Herndon has the title of "Reverend" as a title? Pretty sick little church this guy must be involved in to lie as much as he does.)
Suffice to say, know this: ANYTHING these jackasses from Henry County GOP say to you, if you are an honest person, you should know that everyone of them who hates Sahar is a pathological liar.
Also, ever since Sahar won the 13th CD chairmanship in April 2011, she has had something like FIVE "appeals" filed against her by her enemies (appeals on meetings or some kind of crazy stuff like just because Sahar might comb her hair wrong that night the meeting was held) who just hate her and wish to screw her over and cause her as much hell as they can.
Coming-up this Tuesday, May 1, the Henry County GOP has plans to hold a hearing to vote Sahar out because of something they've been working on unrelated to this convention....and, if I have time to issue a Vine before it happens, I will try. Because, it will deserve its own Vine to devote the space to just to display how dumb these people are in the Henry County GOP.
You folks in the Henry County GOP (and, those in other parts of this state who side with the rabid hyenas of the HC-GOP) likely do not really believe in God, as your minds are clearly 100% infested with nothing but the thoughts of the Devil.
Well, I do happen to believe in God because I know that He inspired me to compose and pound out the words contained in this issue of the Vine. Good will prevail over Evil...and you folks in the Henry County GOP (and, of a similar ilk) should consider this Vine to be a bit of message to you to stop your acts against Sahar, and get control of your evil-infested minds.
NOW...you Members on The Appeal Committee, you should go back and re-read what I just wrote regarding Sahar's ordeal at the hands of these dregs of human society in the Henry County GOP, because I know you did not grasp it all at one sitting...and, after you've re-read it at least once, and you think about this in your head about how you would feel if some a**holes were calling you despicable names day-in and day-out over 2+ years, both in public and in semi-private meetings with your "fellow" Republicans...you tell us how you would feel at that moment in that video where Kathy Gilbert from Henry County stood-up and challenged Sahar on the invocation...how would you have reacted? Sweetly, nicely, all professional-like?
Whoever says "yes" to that is full of bullsh*t. OR, they are a member of the Henry County GOP (which would be the same difference when it comes to being full of manure).

Back to the Convention on April 14th
So, Sahar, because she was still waiting for the other lady to come back into the hall who was designated to read the invocation, just dismissed the invocation-protestor's objection by telling her she was out of order, and then the woman (joined by some other yahoos with Henry County GOP) protested with anger (all without bothering to ask in a civil manner why the invocation seemed to be being skipped). And, to regain order, Sahar requested the Sargeant-At-Arms to escort the woman out of the hall.
At that point, the entire Henry County GOP delegation (delegates, alternates and HC guests) erupted in loud shouts of "SHAME! SHAME SHAME!"
And my thoughts were "Holy crap! This must be what an 'Occupy (fill-in the blank) feels like. These people are OUT of their freakin' minds!"
Now, to give more perspective to everyone reading this, based on all the lies told by several different members of the Henry County GOP on all kinds of subjects for the past two years, my personal view of the Henry County GOP is that their leadership (and, any part of their membership who follows whatever their leadership does) is comprised of nothing but the absolute lowest dregs of society.
Last year, due to their lies about a speech Sue Everhart had given in front of one of their GOP groups, I figured out they were crazy, but I just didn't have any idea of how crazy they were until witnessing what I quietly witnessed on April 14th.
But, my perspective is nothing like Sahar's perspective. These people have put her through absolute hell with their pathological lies about her, her heritage, and her religion (Christianity, by the way), and told these lies to people all over the state, and any normal person might just curl-up into a ball and wait for the assault to end. But, not Sahar. Sahar does not fold or quit, and she is as relentless as these yahoos in Henry County are in trying to destroy her.
Now, I'll tell you this: If Sahar had been trained just a little bit by the State GOP in how to run a convention, maybe she would have been able to handle the situation a little better.
But, that is the key issue here with some of the way this particular convention was run: NO ONE had ever trained her in how to run a convention. NO ONE who chaired any of her committees had ever, apparently, run a convention, or even been a conscious observer of what went on in a convention.
Sahar first got elected to the 13th district chairmanship in 2011. Being elected to chairman doesn't mean you know everything about running the district.
In fact...it wasn't until sometime in mid-to-late 2011 that Sahar discovered just by chance that there was an operations manual written by the State GOP on what district chairs were supposed to do, and what they were responsible for, and how to run meetings, etc.
ANYWAY...back to the issue of the 13th CD convention, everyone needs to consider this analogy: Pretend that you are 40 years-old...and you've never learned how to drive a car, nor have you ever taken a course in how to drive a car.
Someone shows-up at your door, hands you the keys to a brand new car, gives you a copy of the Owner's Manual of the car and gives you a copy of the Georgia Driving Law, and says to you "Good luck!"
Well, here's a question: Do you think you would be qualified to get behind the wheel, start it up, and drive it onto the street and navigate to a restaurant 5 miles away, after just being given some operating manuals and a book of rules of the road?
Because, that is, essentially, what happened with Sahar: The State GOP threw a copy of the State GOP Rules at her, she got a copy of the Convention Call, she got a quick-and-dirty Power Point presentation emailed to her (which, I have to say, didn't provide me with a whole lot of guidance, and I've actually had experience in working on committees and kinda know the procedure of how a convention works...and this PowerPoint presentation did nothing for me), and everyone expected her to know how the whole process was supposed to work.
So, she and her committee chairmen read the rules, and prepared for battle. Part of the preparation was getting food lined-up to be able to serve coffee, donuts, a nice lunch, and beverages to make sure people weren't going to starve like they did on the floor of the 2011 state convention.
AND...at this point, I'm going to have to stop, and hopefully take this up in a "Part 2" when I have more time to actually describe more of the nuttiness displayed by the anti-Sahar contingent; I've got to actually produce something that pays bills, and this stuff does not accomplish that.
BUT...I have just one closing thought to the Members of the Georgia GOP Committee on Appeals who will be hearing the appeal to the 13th CD Convention that has been filed by Sahar's opposition party: IF the opposition (i.e., Dawn Strickland, Ali, Vikki McReynolds, Chris Perkins, Charles Mobley, Bill Herndon, et al.) had accomplished what they intended to accomplish in taking over the convention, and then proceeded to vote to suspend ALL rules (because that is what they would have, essentially had to do), and "toss-out" Sahar as chair, and her officers as well, and install a "new regime" of district officers...and then proceeded to do their nominating committees, credentials committees, etc. for election of delegates and alternates to the RNC...do you think that result would be better or worse than the situation you have now? Ponder that thought carefully.

Upon getting to the end of this "Part 1", I realize that I've been referring to these Thugs as "rabid hyenas."
Well, that is an insult to hyenas, rabid or otherwise. Because, hyenas are these 4-legged creatures who do not have the brain functionality that humans have. And, when they act the way they act, it is out of animal instinct, not intelligence.
To even refer to the people in the Henry County GOP as "animals" is to elevate them up to a level that they don't deserve. In my mind, I still hear the voice of Carla Tortelli who would likely describe the Henry County GOP by saying "They're the scum that other scum wipe off the bottom of their feet."
SO, Fellow Members of the Georgia GOP: WHAT would be the most appropriate name to call these Thugs in the Henry County GOP...people who, if you are a moral person, you do NOT want to be associated with as being a "fellow human being", much less a "Republican."
And...as you ponder that, among all the events of that day in Austell at the 13th CD Convention, the one moment in time that was the most surreal was when 2 or 3 white women from the Henry County GOP delegation started singing (and, I believe it was actually Kathy Gilbert who started the singing, a woman who had, that morning, said to Sahar before the convention started, "Go home, Terrorist!")...and, what did these freaking idiots sing? You could not guess it in a MILLION years.
These pieces of pure human dregs of society, people that had been spending every waking moment for 2+ years viciously and wrongfully creating a full-time emotional Hell for Sahar started singing "We Shall Overcome." (Google the song title if you don't get the point.)
YOU folks tell me the term that should be applied to these "people" of the Henry County GOP that is appropriate to describe them.

Oh, yeahhhh...with regard to the "Rules of the Georgia GOP"...well, let's discuss that for one teensy-weensy moment.
In the formal written appeal challenging the 2012 Henry County Convention held on March 12, 2012, and signed by 20+ people, one of the charges was that the Henry County GOP prohibited (by actual Agenda Item) that there would to be no recording devices, no camera phones used, no texting, etc. Essentially, everyone there was the "witness" and no recordings (except, apparently, by the Henry County GOP) allowed at all.
AND...over at the 11th Congressional District Convention held on April 14th, the assembled convention took a vote to actually ban all videotaping unless someone was an "official" member of the press. This vote was memorialized by a poster named "Bridget" over at PeachPundit.com on the day of the 11th District Convention. (note...yeah, I got a PDF of the cite already if that comment is removed).
So..what does this teensy-weensy factoid about videotaping/recording, etc. not being allowed, or, even more interesting, actually being "voted on" to be banned at a district convention unless you were an "official member of the press?"
Well, listen-up Lawyers with the Georgia GOP, as this is your bailiwick: According to Rule 9.5 of the Rules of the Georgia GOP, dated September 24, 2011, it states as follows:
"MEETINGS AND CONVENTIONS OPEN TO PUBLIC
The Mass Meetings and Conventions shall be open to the public as spectators."
Now, if an event is "Open to the Public", that pretty much means it's an event in which ANYONE can come witness it....and, do exactly as anyone would do in a "free and open society"...take pictures...videotape, etc.
So, one has to ask, WHY would you ban the recording of a supposedly "open-to-the-public-convention" unless you intended to, perhaps, break rules that you did not want any evidence of? (E.G., the Athens-Clark County Convention where the GOP chairman was caught on tape violating Robert's Rules by ignoring the call for a "division of the house.")
From my understanding of the "Rules" of the Georgia GOP (and, I could be a real novice here), a district convention cannot, essentially, opt-out of following a RULE of the state party (even if they "vote" on it), can they?

Just keep this in mind: IF there were rules inadvertently broken by Sahar and her team, it was clearly not done on purpose because, a) due to no training of significance from the State GOP, they may not have actually known all the rules and processes, and b) if they truly intended on breaking rules, don't you think they would have banned all video and audio recording, as the crooks for the Henry County GOP Convention clearly planned to do when they banned recordings of that convention ahead of time?

This is an example of what we’re up against in 2012. A woman who was introducing First Lady Michelle Obama at a campaign rally in Iowa falsely gave credit to President Barack Obama for making it possible for her to obtain health insurance. From The Des Moines Register:
CeCe Ibson was chosen to share her personal story as an introduction to a Michelle Obama speech in Windsor Heights. Ibson talked about losing her health-insurance coverage when she lost her job as a lawyer two years ago. She bought private coverage for her two children, she said, but could not find it for herself. “No one would insure me because of my pre-existing conditions. No one. Until President Obama stood up for me and millions of Americans like me across Iowa and across the country,” she said to cheers from the crowd of campaign volunteers.
Oh really? Yeah, not so much:
In fact, Ibson’s current coverage is provided by HIP Iowa, a state insurance program for people whose health problems make them ineligible for most commercial insurance. HIP Iowa was created in 1987, when Republican Terry Branstad was governor.
Now, this might not be that big a deal if she was confused about how all this stuff worked or was called out at random and made these remarks all by herself. But that’s not the case:
Ibson acknowledged today that her coverage was not provided by the new federal health-reform program. She said she makes that point more clearly when she gives a 15 minute presentation on the issue. She said some of the specifics were trimmed out when she shortened her talk to about three minutes, with the help of campaign staff members.
Overall, she said, the Obama campaign wanted her to speak as a person who has struggled to find coverage. “I never thought they tried to make me the face of someone giving credit to the president for doing something he hadn’t done,” she said.
See that? She knew Obama had nothing to do with her finding health care coverage before she made those remarks to introduce the First Lady. Not only that, her remarks were ‘shortened’ with the help of campaign staff members. As if that weren’t bad enough, she then tries to spin what she did by saying she never thought the campaign tried to make her the face of someone of giving the president credit for some he didn’t do? What? Is she serious?
One more time, this is what she said while introducing the First Lady:
“No one would insure me because of my pre-existing conditions. No one. Until President Obama stood up for me and millions of Americans like me across Iowa and across the country,” she said to cheers from the crowd of campaign volunteers.”
On what planet does that not equal giving President Obama credit for her finding health coverage?
Let’s recap.
1. The Obama Campaign specifically chose this woman to introduce Michelle Obama at a campaign stop.
2. She knew President Obama had nothing to do with her finding health coverage prior to speaking, yet she still lied and gave him credit.
3. The Obama Campaign helped her shorten her remarks. (They wrote them).
4. She then tried to deny she gave him credit for something he had no part in even though her remarks undeniably did that very thing.
In short, the Obama Campaign selected a specific individual to speak at a campaign event who, under their direction, knowingly lied about how she found health coverage using remarks they helped write, who then lied about what she did to a reporter.
This is what we’re up against in 2012. This administration will do anything to stay in power. Don’t let them get away with it.

House GOP responds with own bill to protect women

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Republicans determined to show women voters that they have their interests at heart on Wednesday announced plans to renew the Violence Against Women Act, the federal government's main domestic violence program.
The GOP proposal set up a possible showdown with a somewhat different version that Senate Democrats have advanced and has been pending for several weeks. The Senate began debate Wednesday on the Democratic version as talks continued.
VAWA, first enacted in 1994, has a history of being bipartisan and noncontroversial, but that's changed this election year. Democrats have accused Republicans of waging a war on women, and Republicans, led by presumptive presidential nominee Mitt Romney, have responded by emphasizing their sensitivity to women's issues.
The Senate bill has 61 sponsors, including eight Republicans, but parts of it have met resistance from others in the GOP.
Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, joined by Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, is preparing an alternative that would alter several Democratic provisions. Their alternative would cap visas available to legal and illegal immigrants who suffer abuse at 10,000 a year, compared to 15,000 proposed by the Democratic bill offered by Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy, D-Vt. It does not specify, as the Democratic bill does, that violence against gays, lesbians and transgenders are part of the act. The Leahy bill expands the authority of Native American officials to handle cases of abuse of Indian women by non-Indians. The Republican substitute permits tribal authorities to go to federal court for protective orders on behalf of abused Native American women.
The base Senate bill would reauthorize VAWA for five years with funding of $659.3 million a year, down $136.5 million a year from the last VAWA act, which expired several months ago. The money goes to such programs as legal assistance for victims, enforcement of protection orders, transitional housing aid and youth prevention programs.
Sponsors of the House bill, which is still being drafted, said it would be close to the Grassley-Hutchison approach. It was introduced by 12 GOP women lawmakers and three members of the Republican leadership, including Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia.
"We are not going to be looking at the controversial issues that would actually detract from VAWA," said Rep. Sandy Adams, R-Fla., the chief sponsor.
Rep. Kristi Noem, R-S.D., said that "unfortunately, in Congress there are some who'd like to make this a political play. They'd like to make a cheap shot and try to politicize it in an election year."
At an earlier news conference with a Native American woman who spoke of her experience with sexual abuse, Senate Democratic women also warned of the bill becoming a political football.
"Let us not put the country in jeopardy because the House wants to put forward a Republican-only bill," said Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif.
"These women don't deserve political theater," said Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash. She said she hoped the House would act in a bipartisan way. "We want to make sure they don't move us backwards."
The Senate Democrats insisted that they had not sought to pick a political fight with provisions on illegal immigrants or Native Americans. Boxer said that no women had ever been excluded from assistance in past VAWA acts and their bill was simply making that clear.
Adams said the House bill also differed from the Senate version by increasing resources for sexual assault investigations, spending more to reduce the backlog in rape kits and assuring that more money goes to victim programs instead of to Washington offices. She said the House bill could reach the floor for a vote by mid-May.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden is calling the foreign policy outlined by presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney shallow, ill-informed and dangerous and says it would return the United States to "the past we have worked so hard to move beyond."
President Barack Obama will gladly stack accomplishments such as killing terror mastermind Osama bin Laden against Romney's rhetoric, Biden said in remarks prepared for delivery at an overtly partisan campaign event on Thursday. The Associated Press obtained excerpts of the speech Wednesday.
"Americans know that we cannot afford to go back to the future," Biden said. "Back to a foreign policy that would have America go it alone, shout to the world you're either with us or against us, lash out first and ask the hard questions later, if at all."
The campaign speech at New York University represents a broad defense of Obama's national security record and an argument that Obama is the tested, trustworthy choice at an uncertain moment in world affairs. As have his recent addresses on the economy, Social Security and other topics, the speech focuses on issues the campaign hopes to highlight as success stories in the head-to-head contest with Romney.
Playing a role often assigned to vice presidential candidates, Biden is using sharper and more partisan language than the president. He directly linked Romney to unpopular policies of George W. Bush, the Republican president Obama succeeded, and sought to remind voters of the distaste many felt at Bush-era foreign policy.
"Gov. Romney is counting on our collective amnesia," Biden said.
Electing Romney could again "waste hundreds of billions of dollars and risk thousands of American lives on an unnecessary war," Biden said in a clear reference to the unpopular Iraq war that Obama ended.
In response to the criticism, a foreign policy adviser to Romney said that Obama has frittered American influence.
"They seem content to watch from the sidelines as events go past," former State Department official Pierre Prosper said Wednesday. "America has lost its voice."
Prosper, who worked in the Bush administration, pointed to Iran, Russia and Cuba as examples of what he said is Obama's lack of resolve or willingness to let other nations dictate the agenda.
Romney's foreign policy appears similar to the hawkish and sometimes unilateral foreign policy prescriptions that guided Bush and other Republicans, including President Ronald Reagan. The former Massachusetts governor has cast Obama as too quick to accommodate or apologize.
"The world is better off when the United States takes the lead. We should not be playing 'Mother, may I?' about sanctions on Iran and relations with China and Russia," Richard Williamson, a top Romney foreign policy adviser, told The Associated Press recently.
Romney's five-state primary sweep on Tuesday was another step toward locking up the GOP nomination to oppose Obama. The president has been unofficially running against Romney for months, mostly by casting his own economic policies as more egalitarian and more fiscally sound. Neither man has made foreign policy a central campaign issue, although each has singled out their differences on policy toward Iran.
Romney has said Obama botched his dealings with Iran and that he would be much tougher in handling the potential nuclear weapons state. He suggests he would be more attuned to the security concerns of Israel, which sees an Iranian bomb as a mortal threat.
In one Republican debate, Romney said: "If we re-elect Barack Obama, Iran will have a nuclear weapon. And if we elect Mitt Romney, if you elect me as the next president, they will not have a nuclear weapon."
The U.S. has been trying to persuade Israel not to launch a military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities and insists there is time for diplomacy to work.
Obama has said the U.S. hasn't "given away anything" to Iran in the latest round of talks over the nuclear program. While Obama has not ruled out a U.S. attack, he has said it would be a very bad idea now.
His position reflects the difficulties of managing the multifaceted Iranian problem, which affects oil prices, the fragile world economy, U.S. alliances and the U.S. relationship with Israel, the domestic politics of American political support for Israel and Middle East power politics. As a result, Obama's position is hard to sum up as a campaign issue.
A recent Washington Post-ABC News survey found that Americans trust Obama over Romney on international affairs, 53 percent to 36 percent.
Sen. Marco Rubio, a potential Romney vice presidential pick, outlined a similar vision Wednesday.
The Florida Republican lamented "liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans" who championed U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan and opposed involvement in Libya, and said Obama should have done even more to advance the cause of the rebels who toppled Moammar Gadhafi.
"Global problems do require international coalitions. On that point this administration is correct," Rubio said. "But effective international coalitions don't form themselves. They need to be instigated and led, and more often than not, they can only be instigated and led by us. And that is what this administration doesn't understand."
