Reply: It is found in the Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 1, Clause 5:

3. I am in the U.S. Army, a natural born citizen, and my wife is a U.S. Citizen, natural born. If my son is born in Germany (Military hospital or not), and has a U.S. Consular Report of Birth Abroad, and a German birth certificate can he become President of the United States?
Yes, since your son was born of citizens temporarily residing abroad, as in the military service, then he may become eligible to be president. Of course he must still "have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."
Two cases in point: (1) George Romney of Michigan who ran for president in 1968. Mr. Romney was born in a Mormon community in Chihuahua, Mexico. His parents were U.S. citizens so he was a natural born citizen. (2) John McCain of Arizona was a candidate in 2000. McCain was born in Panama where his father was stationed in the service, so he would also be "natural born."
4. Is there anything that specifies that only the 3rd generation of an immigrant family could be elected as president?
No. The president must only be "natural born," that is born a citizen. His parents may be born elsewhere. Both of Andrew Jackson's parents were born in Ireland, for example.
5. What day does the president take office? [term]
The president takes office on January 20th following the November election. See the 20th Amendment to the Constitution.
6. What is the presidential oath, word for word?
It is found in the Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 1, Clause 8:
Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation: -- "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Where is the president sworn in? Weather permitting, presidents are normally sworn in in front of the U. S. Capitol building. The location can vary. Sunday ceremonies, for example, are traditionally conducted in private, with a public ceremony the next day.
Is it important to have the old president present during the swearing in? The old president does not have to be there. In the past, some have boycotted their successor's inauguration.
Who swears in the new president? Usually the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, but this is not required by the Constitution.
What time does the swearing in occur? 12 noon.
Why is the Vice President sworn into office first before the President? Good question. I don't know the answer, but it is a tradition that has a long history. Andrew Johnson, for example, was sworn in as vice-president before Abraham Lincoln took the oath in 1865.
7. My daughter would like to know how many years can one person serve as President of the US? Can he or she run for office again after serving two terms but has been out of office for a few years?
The Twenty-Second amendment to the Constitution, ratified in 1951, limits the President to a maximum of two terms. Anyone who has served two full terms cannot be elected again. However, if someone becomes president as the result of the death or resignation of another president and serves at most two years of a remaining term, he or she could still be elected for two terms in their own right. So the maximum theoretical service as president is 10 years.
For example, Lyndon Johnson was eligible to run for president in 1968, although he chose not to. He had served only 14 months of Kennedy's term, and so could have been elected twice in his own right and serve a total of over 9 years.
8. What is the President of the United States ultimately responsible for?
In a nutshell, he is the head of the executive branch of government and " ... he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed..."
In more detail, the U.S. Constitution says (I am paraphrasing):
Section. 2. Clause 1: The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the States, when called into the actual Service of the United States. ... Section. 3. He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient. ... He shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers. He shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.
9. How long does a Supreme Court Judge serve?
The Constitution does not set a limit. A Supreme Court justice serves until he quits, dies or is removed from office by impeachment.
10. You had stated in your trivia question "Who was impeached?" that the answer is Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton? How could they be impeached but not removed from office? [impeachment resolutions]
The word "impeach" means "to proceed against a public officer for crime or misfeasance [improper performance]" (Black's Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition). It does not necessarily mean removal from office. The House of Representatives voted to impeach President Andrew Johnson (1865-1869). This means that he was charged with "... Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors". However, in his trial in the Senate, the vote was one short of enough to convict him. So Andrew Johnson was "impeached," although not removed from office.
Bill Clinton was also impeached but not convicted.
11. Who was named vice president when Kennedy was killed?
No one. That was before the 25th Amendment which proscribed the appointment of a new vice president when the office is vacant.
12. Who was the first person appointed and approved to fill a vacancy in the office of vice president under the 25th Amendment.

The Native American party was founded in 1841 at a state convention in Louisiana. The worn out race card has been used by the sycophants who support Barack Obama aka Barry Soetoro aka Barry Dunham aka Barack Dunham to crush any discussion regarding his eligibility. Race baiters in the corrupt, disgraced media who wear their socialist ideology like a badge of honor continue to chant "birthers" are all racists because Obama/Soetoro is black. They conveniently forget Barry's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham was white. The correct racial definition is half Caucasian, half Negro. But, none of that matters to the gangsters who prop up Soetoro or the useful fools who proclaim his brilliance.
Nor do any of the liars for hire in the media playing the race card ever bring up the very first ballot challenge in 2008. Leo Donofrio, an attorney in New Jersey, raised the first concerns regarding citizenship when he filed to keep Obama/Soetoro off the ballot. The other two candidates in Leo's case were John McCain and a foreign national who was obviously ineligible. No mention is ever made of Leo's case against McCain not being constitutionally eligible.
Was this challenge to Obama/Soetoro's citizenship unanticipated? I don't believe so. Leo filed his papers in October 2008; you can view all of them here. The powers behind the scenes began to grease the wheels shortly after Soetoro became a state senator in Illinois. By February 2008, chicanery was underway as this relatively unknown with no paper trail to his life makes a bid for the White House. There were obviously people with a lot at stake who knew there was a problem with Barry's citizenship and tried to cut it off before it became an issue:
In February 2008, Democrats (and one Republican) began pushing legislation on the issue of citizenship:
"...on February 28, 2008, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) introduced a bill to the Senate for consideration. That bill was known as S. 2678: Children of Military Families Natural Born Citizen Act. The bill was co-sponsored by Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ), and Sen. Thomas Coburn (R-OK).

Curiously, it contained the same identical co-sponsors, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Why did these candidates and their wishful nominees go to such lengths in the Senate when obviously, they had more pressing matters to attend to? And why were there two Senators co-sponsoring such an issue, twice, who were in direct competition with John McCain in the 2008 election?"

The U.S. Supreme Court refused to grant an oral hearing on Leo's case. An endless stream of lawsuits have followed over the years. Of course, none of this would have happened had the Outlaw Congress done their job, January 9, 2009 and stopped the electoral college vote. The controversy was raging full steam by then regarding Obama/Soetoro's constitutional eligibility, yet not one member of Congress, not Michelle Bachmann, not Ron Paul, not one single member of Congress had the courage to stand up, invoke house rules and begin a legitimate investigation.

There will be a hearing, January 26, 2012, in the State of Georgia to keep the usurper off the ballot. The plaintiffs have won the first round: Judge Malihi refused Obama's Motion to Dismiss. We shall see if he has the courage to do what will send shock waves throughout the world: If Soetoro isn't constitutionally eligible now, he wasn't in 2008. Translated: the Oval Office has been empty since George Bush left. Usurper means someone who has usurped the office, but does not legally occupy it. Soetoro cannot be impeached. I sincerely wish people would understand that if a successful impeachment happened, it would set one of the worst legal precedents in our history.
I have no candidate preference for president in 2012, so there is absolutely no bias on my part in bringing up the problem with Mitt Romney. As an old warrior activist going on 21 years, I know what they all stand for and what they won't stand up for. Constitutional eligibility doesn't have anything to do with political party loyalty. It has to do with the supreme law of the land and upholding the law so our republic doesn't turn into complete lawlessness and anarchy.
Any candidate, Republican, Democrat, Green Party, Independent Party, Libertarian Party, Constitution Party - you name it - cannot expect to put a candidate on the ballot for president if that candidate isn't eligible under the Constitution. It doesn't matter if that candidate is a person of color, Caucasian, Asian or Hispanic. The only thing that matters for ballot qualification is constitutional eligibility. Will we see Romney held to the same standards as the effort to expose Soetoro for the fraud and liar he is?
But, Mitt Romney was born in America, right? He was born on March 12, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan. That is not in dispute. But, what is in dispute is his father's citizenship at the time Willard was born with the exact same situation with Obama/Soetoro.
While I don't entirely trust Wikipedia, they at least get part of it right regarding Mitt Romney's father: "Romney was born to American parents in the Mormon Colonies in Mexico; events during the Mexican Revolution forced his family to move back to the United States when he was a child."
Mr. George W. Romney, was elected Governor of Michigan. Because there was talk George W. might run for the presidency, his citizenship eligibility came into question and because it extends to the child at the time of birth, there is now question regarding Willard (Mitt) Romney:

In other words, In my opinion, Mr. George Romney of Michigan Is Ineligible to become President of the United States because he was born In Mexico and is, therefore, not a natural-born citizen as required by the United States Constitution."
Thus, we have the same situation as with Obama/Soetoro: A father born in a foreign country who never became a U.S. citizen. Several people have been doing some serious research on this:
"The big question is this…how did George and Gaskell Romney get their US Citizenship back if they still had it at all? If Gaskell (son) and Miles Park Romney (father) who were both Mexican citizens how could they transfer US Citizenship to George Romney? Mitt Romney, however, may be a birthright baby because he fell under the 14th Amendment (I doubt they were under the jurisdiction of the US) but it is absolutely clear that Mitt Romney is NOT a Natural Born Citizen unless he can prove that George Romney gained citizenship from naturalization prior to Mitt's birth in 1947. I have found no records showing this to be the case."

Of course, anyone who has done a few hundred hours of reading research on this issue fully understands how the Fourteenth Amendment has been twisted to suit political agendas, i.e., the myth called "anchor babies."
The real legal question is this: Romney's father was born in Mexico. Under their Constitution, he was a Mexican citizen.

A. Mexicans by birth are:
I. Those born in the territory of the Republic, regardless of the nationality of their parents:
II. Those born in a foreign country of Mexican parents; of a Mexican father and a foreign mother; or of a Mexican mother and an unknown father;
Was that still his status when Mitt was born?
Obama/Soetoro's father was a Kenyan national visiting the U.S. He was a British citizen. Under the British Nationality Act of 1948,Obama/Soetoro/Dunham was born with dual citizenship and forever ineligible to run for president.
There was a darn good reason why those who birthed this republic did not want foreign influence in the White House and why the words 'natural born citizen' were put into the Constitution.

We shall see what happens at the hearing in Georgia, Jan. 26, 2012. I pray Judge Malihi will be able to withstand the pressure because should he find for the plaintiffs, Barry Soetoro will not be on the ballot in 2012 and the whole world will know he isn't constitutionally eligible in 2012 and neither was he in 2008.

Is Romney constitutionally eligible as a natural born citizen?
In April 2011, a couple of weeks before Obama/Soetoro released his official forged birth certificate, Mitt Romney declared Mr. Cool didn't need a birth certificate because his mother was born in America. Romney declared his complete ignorance on the issue - or - he was covering in the event his citizenship becomes an issue.This piece is full of such propaganda, one can only refer to it as bird cage liner: Romney to Trump: Obama Doesn't Need a Birth Certificate. Perhaps Mitt Romney is terrified his own citizenship eligibility will be looked at more closely and find himself the target of real constitutionalists who believe the supreme law of the land is more important than a candidate or party.
Do you think the Democrats will make this an issue? If they did, it would come right back to their candidate, Barack Obama aka Barry Soetoro aka Barry Dunham.
Will Republican presidential candidates (the ones not kissed and blessed by the global elites) makes this an issue? Where there's this much smoke, there's bound to be fire.

Wouldn't it be great if a Republican presidential candidate could just buy the support of just about every major conservative talk show host in America? Well, it may not be as far-fetched as you may think. Clear Channel owns more radio stations (850) than anyone else in the United States. They also own Premiere Radio Networks, the company that syndicates the radio shows of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck, among others. Needless to say, Clear Channel basically owns conservative talk radio in the United States. So who owns Clear Channel? Well, it turns out that Bain Capital is one of the primary owners of Clear Channel. Yes, you read that correctly. The company that Mitt Romney ran for so long is one of the "big bosses" over virtually all conservative talk radio in America. Of course Mitt Romney is not running Bain Capital anymore. He is a "retired partner", but he still has a huge financial stake in Bain Capital. We're talking about millions upon millions of dollars. If you doubt this, just check out page 34 of this public financial disclosure report. So if you have been wondering why so many conservative talk show hosts are being so incredibly kind to Mitt Romney, this just might be the answer.
In the media world, there is a clear understanding that you simply do not bite the hand that feeds you. Some of the most prominent conservative talk radio hosts are earning tens of millions of dollars a year.
If you were making tens of millions of dollars a year, wouldn't you be very careful to avoid offending your boss?
The deal in which Bain Capital became one of the owners of Clear Channel was initiated just a short time before Mitt Romney's first run for president. The following comes from Wikipedia....
On November 16, 2006, Clear Channel announced plans to go private, being bought out by two private-equity firms,Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital Partners for $18.7 billion, which is just under a 10 percent premium above its closing price of $35.36 a share on November 16 (the deal values Clear Channel at $37.60 per share).
The deal was finalized in 2008. Today, Bain Capital is still one of the primary owners of Clear Channel.
One of the subsidiaries of Clear Channel is Premiere Radio Networks.
Premiere Radio Networks distributes a whole host of conservative talk radio shows. Everyone in the conservative world knows names such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck. Clear Channel also controls some other conservative talk radio hosts (such as Michael Savage and Mark Levin) that are not part of the Premiere Radio family.
The power that Premiere Radio Networks has is absolutely staggering. The following is directly from the official Clear Channel website....

So do you think that any of those hosts is going to risk viciously attacking Mitt Romney and Bain Capital during this election season?

One of the controversies that has plagued Premiere Radio Networks in recent years has been the uproar over their use of paid actors to call in to their radio shows.

Clear Channel, through its subsidiary, Premiere Radio Networks, auditions and hires actors to call in to talk radio shows and pose as listeners in order to provide shows, carried by Clear Channel and other broadcasters, with planned content in the form of stories and opinions. The custom caller service provided by Premiere Radio ensures its clients they won't hear the same actor's voice for at least two months in order to appear authentic to listeners who might otherwise catch on.
So perhaps that explains where some of the "Romney callers" come from.
There is nothing illegal about what Romney and Bain Capital have done, but it sure does not pass the "smell test".
Conservative talk radio has the potential to sway millions of conservative voters in one direction or another, and it is just not proper for Bain Capital and Romney to have such an overpowering financial interest in conservative talk radio.
And yes, Mitt Romney is still bringing in lots of money from Bain Capital. The following comes from a Wikipedia article about Mitt Romney....

As with anything, whenever you want to get to the real truth you just need to follow the money.
Earlier this week, Sean Hannity told Rick Perry that his attacks on Mitt Romney's time at Bain Capital sounded like something that "Occupy Wall Street" would say.
Just the other day, Rush Limbaugh compared Rick Perry to Fidel Castro and rabidly defended Mitt Romney on his radio program....
“There’s no way you can try to dress that up,” Limbaugh fumed. “I don’t understand it. Well, politically I understand it, but that’s just absurd. It’s sad. ‘Cause I really, really, really like Rick Perry! I really do. I had such hopes! I did. I’ll tell you, I did, but all of this talk about “corporate raiders,” and as I listen to politicians start talking about capitalism, lights are going off in my head. “Maybe they don’t really know what it is. Maybe they’re under some misconception about what capitalism is, because this characterization of it? A distinction with venture capitalism and vulture capitalism? This bite from Perry doesn’t compute.”
Michael Savage has been one of the worst offenders of all. He made national headlines when he offered Newt Gingrich one millions dollars to drop out of the race so that Mitt Romney would have a clear path to the nomination.
When he announced this offer, Savage wrote the following on his own website....
"Mitt Romney is the only candidate with a chance of defeating Barack Obama, and there is nothing more important than that for future health, safety, and security of the United States of America"
So why are these conservative talk show hosts defending Mitt Romney so furiously?
I think now we know.
It is all about the money.
When you have enough money, you can get conservative talk show hosts to promote an extremely liberal candidate.
Yes, of course Bain Capital does not "control" what these talk show hosts say.
Yes, of course some of the talk show hosts toss some light criticism at Romney from time to time.
But they simply do not go after Romney like they should be.
The truth is that Mitt Romney is really a Democrat that is masquerading as a Republican. When you closely examine his record, he is very similar to Obama.
There is no way in the world that any self-respecting conservative should ever cast a single vote for him.
But right now Mitt Romney is running away with the race for the Republican nomination.
If Republicans can be fooled this badly, is there any hope for the future of the Republican Party?

While we take a moment to rejoice in a court finally willing to examine the Constitutional status of Obama, who evidence supports as beingnot a lawful president but a Usurper-in-Chief, we cannot rest upon our laurels.
While we may hope that Georgia will be the beginning of the end of the line for the Obama campaign, motions to quash and vicious legal push back by Team Obama are a given. Georgia Judge Michael Malihi has ordered Obama’s attorneys to appear in court January 26 holding that, according to state law, every federal and state candidate must prove eligibility for office – including Barack Obama.
Barack Hussein Obama II, has some of the highest-rent attorneys in the country working tirelessly to keep the question of his eligibility for office out of court. And no wonder, because whether he was born in Hawaii or not, it can be compellingly argued under law that according to binding precedents laid out by the Supreme Court, Barack Hussein Obama II does not qualify as a natural born Citizen.
The U.S. Constitution very clearly requires, in a unique usage and application of the term, that the president must be a “natural born Citizen” to be eligible for the nation’s highest office. “Natural born Citizen” is demonstrably held by the Founders in Article II, Section 1 as distinct and different than “Citizen” and even “native born Citizen” – that is, born under jus soli, on native soil.
Documentary evidence shows that in the Founding era, the common law view was that a natural born Citizen was that person born within United States territory to parents who were themselves United States Citizens.

Nearly one hundred years after the Constitution was ratified, in the 1875 unanimous Supreme Court ruling of Minor v. Happerset, the Supreme Court explicitly held a “natural born Citizen” to be a Citizen whose parents were both U.S. Citizens at the time of the person’s birth.
This finding was, and continues to be, fully consistent with U.S. history in Supreme Court case decisions, and law enacted and enforced by the United States Congress.
This time-honored historical record stands against the strenuous lying, dissembling and countless other Alinsky-esque strategies deployed to discredit the legitimacy and derail the legal efforts of all those Citizens who are raising objections to Obama’s eligibility for office.
By Barak Obama’s own admission, his father was a native of Kenya and was NEVER a U.S. Citizen. Therefore, Barack Hussein Obama II would, under long-standing custom, common law, and Supreme Court precedent, automatically be INELIGIBLE to hold the office of President of the United States.
It is no wonder Barack Hussein Obama II has spent millions of dollars in an attempt to keep the matter of his qualifications for eligibility out of court. But even the most expensive attorneys are no match for a judge who understands the Constitution and the rule of law.
As we reported earlier, a number of Georgia voters filed lawsuits questioning Barack Hussein Obama’s eligibility to appear on the Georgia Presidential ballot. Obama’s lawyers attempted to get the case thrown out, but Georgia Judge Malihi responded with a resounding NO.
In an order written January 3, 2012, Malihi ruled that Georgia state law is very clear – any candidate for federal or state office must meet the qualifications of that office and that Georgia electors have the right to challenge those qualifications in court. As a result, Malihi flatly denied Obama’s motion to dismiss and scheduled a hearing for January 26.
The January 26th hearing should be a blockbuster, as it is the first in the nation that proposes to consider on the merits whether Barack Hussein Obama II is eligible to be President of the United States of America.
But we CANNOT rest now and hope the Georgia case is permitted to hear REAL evidence, and settles all large questions in this murky mess of Obama’s eligibility for office. Even if Obama is ultimately kept off Georgia’s presidential ballot, Obama will only lose 16 electoral votes. While this is an important precedent, and not an insignificant number, we must fight to ensure that many other states follow Georgia’s lead.

The United States Naturalization Act of January 29, 1795 (1 Stat. 414) repealed and replaced the Naturalization Act of 1790. The Native American party was founded in 1841 at a state convention in Louisiana. She later married a Marxist political activist, who indoctrinated Obama on how to break every rule of good governance and get around the law. Obama crowned his unwanted child status with this radical political and religious upbringing, by becoming a Harvard lawyer, to learn how to get around Constitutional law. In essence, he tried to establish false citizenship by residency only, though he was not born here, nor did he grow up here, nor does he care to uphold the Constitution, the law, unless he can find a way to exploit it.

The worn out race card has been used by the sycophants who support Barack Obama aka Barry Soetoro aka Barry Dunham aka Barack Dunham to crush any discussion regarding his eligibility. Nor do any of the liars for hire in the media playing the race card ever bring up the very first ballot challenge in 2008. Leo Donofrio, an attorney in New Jersey, raised the first concerns regarding citizenship when he filed to keep Obama/Soetoro off the ballot. The other two candidates in Leo's case were John McCain and a foreign national who was obviously ineligible. No mention is ever made of Leo's case against McCain not being constitutionally eligible.
Was this challenge to Obama/Soetoro's citizenship unanticipated? I don't believe so. Leo filed his papers in October 2008; you can view all of them here. The powers behind the scenes began to grease the wheels shortly after Soetoro became a state senator in Illinois. By February 2008, chicanery was underway as this relatively unknown with no paper trail to his life makes a bid for the White House. There were obviously people with a lot at stake who knew there was a problem with Barry's citizenship and tried to cut it off before it became an issue:

The U.S. Supreme Court refused to grant an oral hearing on Leo's case. An endless stream of lawsuits have followed over the years. Of course, none of this would have happened had the Outlaw Congress done their job, January 9, 2009 and stopped the electoral college vote. The controversy was raging full steam by then regarding Obama/Soetoro's constitutional eligibility, yet not one member of Congress, not Michelle Bachmann, not Ron Paul, not one single member of Congress had the courage to stand up, invoke house rules and begin a legitimate investigation.

There will be a hearing, January 26, 2012, in the State of Georgia to keep the usurper off the ballot. The plaintiffs have won the first round: Judge Malihi refused Obama's Motion to Dismiss. We shall see if he has the courage to do what will send shock waves throughout the world: If Soetoro isn't constitutionally eligible now, he wasn't in 2008. Translated: the Oval Office has been empty since George Bush left. Usurper means someone who has usurped the office, but does not legally occupy it. Soetoro cannot be impeached. I sincerely wish people would understand that if a successful impeachment happened, it would set one of the worst legal precedents in our history.
I have no candidate preference for president in 2012, so there is absolutely no bias on my part in bringing up the problem with Mitt Romney. As an old warrior activist going on 21 years, I know what they all stand for and what they won't stand up for. Constitutional eligibility doesn't have anything to do with political party loyalty. It has to do with the supreme law of the land and upholding the law so our republic doesn't turn into complete lawlessness and anarchy.
Any candidate, Republican, Democrat, Green Party, Independent Party, Libertarian Party, Constitution Party - you name it - cannot expect to put a candidate on the ballot for president if that candidate isn't eligible under the Constitution. It doesn't matter if that candidate is a person of color, Caucasian, Asian or Hispanic. The only thing that matters for ballot qualification is constitutional eligibility. Will we see Romney held to the same standards as the effort to expose Soetoro for the fraud and liar he is?
But, Mitt Romney was born in America, right? He was born on March 12, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan. That is not in dispute. But, what is in dispute is his father's citizenship at the time Willard was born with the exact same situation with Obama/Soetoro.
While I don't entirely trust Wikipedia, they at least get part of it right regarding Mitt Romney's father: "Romney was born to American parents in the Mormon Colonies in Mexico; events during the Mexican Revolution forced his family to move back to the United States when he was a child."
Mr. George W. Romney, was elected Governor of Michigan. Because there was talk George W. might run for the presidency, his citizenship eligibility came into question and because it extends to the child at the time of birth, there is now question regarding Willard (Mitt) Romney:

Thus, we have the same situation as with Obama/Soetoro: A father born in a foreign country who never became a U.S. citizen. Several people have been doing some serious research on this:

If Gaskell (son) and Miles Park Romney (father) who were both Mexican citizens how could they transfer US Citizenship to George Romney? Of course, anyone who has done a few hundred hours of reading research on this issue fully understands how the Fourteenth Amendment has been twisted to suit political agendas, i.e., the myth called "anchor babies."
The real legal question is this: Romney's father was born in Mexico. Under their Constitution, he was a Mexican citizen.

Was that still his status when Mitt was born?
Obama/Soetoro's father was a Kenyan national visiting the U.S. He was a British citizen. Under the British Nationality Act of 1948,Obama/Soetoro/Dunham was born with dual citizenship and forever ineligible to run for president.
There was a darn good reason why those who birthed this republic did not want foreign influence in the White House and why the words 'natural born citizen' were put into the Constitution.

We shall see what happens at the hearing in Georgia, Jan. 26, 2012. I pray Judge Malihi will be able to withstand the pressure because should he find for the plaintiffs, Barry Soetoro will not be on the ballot in 2012 and the whole world will know he isn't constitutionally eligible in 2012 and neither was he in 2008.

In April 2011, a couple of weeks before Obama/Soetoro released his official forged birth certificate, Mitt Romney declared Mr. Cool didn't need a birth certificate because his mother was born in America. Wouldn't it be great if a Republican presidential candidate could just buy the support of just about every major conservative talk show host in America? Well, it may not be as far-fetched as you may think. Clear Channel owns more radio stations (850) than anyone else in the United States. They also own Premiere Radio Networks, the company that syndicates the radio shows of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck, among others. Needless to say, Clear Channel basically owns conservative talk radio in the United States. So who owns Clear Channel? Well, it turns out that Bain Capital is one of the primary owners of Clear Channel. Yes, you read that correctly. The company that Mitt Romney ran for so long is one of the "big bosses" over virtually all conservative talk radio in America. Of course Mitt Romney is not running Bain Capital anymore. He is a "retired partner", but he still has a huge financial stake in Bain Capital. We're talking about millions upon millions of dollars. If you doubt this, just check out page 34 of this public financial disclosure report. So if you have been wondering why so many conservative talk show hosts are being so incredibly kind to Mitt Romney, this just might be the answer.In the media world, there is a clear understanding that you simply do not bite the hand that feeds you. Some of the most prominent conservative talk radio hosts are earning tens of millions of dollars a year.

One of the controversies that has plagued Premiere Radio Networks in recent years has been the uproar over their use of paid actors to call in to their radio shows.

Conservative talk radio has the potential to sway millions of conservative voters in one direction or another, and it is just not proper for Bain Capital and Romney to have such an overpowering financial interest in conservative talk radio.

At the time of his departure, Romney negotiated an agreement with Bain Capital that allowed him to receive a passive profit share as a retired partner in some Bain Capital entities, including buyout and investment funds.[62][57] With the private equity business continuing to thrive, this deal would bring him millions of dollars in income each year.[57] As a result of his business career, by 2007 Romney and his wife had a net worth of between $190 and $250 million, most of it held in blind trusts.[62] An additional blind trust existed in the name of the Romneys' children and grandchildren that was valued at between $70 and $100 million as of 2007.[63] The couple's net worth remained in the same range as of 2011, and was still held in blind trusts.

As with anything, whenever you want to get to the real truth you just need to follow the money.
Earlier this week, Sean Hannity told Rick Perry that his attacks on Mitt Romney's time at Bain Capital sounded like something that "Occupy Wall Street" would say.
Just the other day, Rush Limbaugh compared Rick Perry to Fidel Castro and rabidly defended Mitt Romney on his radio program....
“There’s no way you can try to dress that up,” Limbaugh fumed. “I don’t understand it. Well, politically I understand it, but that’s just absurd. It’s sad. ‘Cause I really, really, really like Rick Perry! I really do. I had such hopes! I did. I’ll tell you, I did, but all of this talk about “corporate raiders,” and as I listen to politicians start talking about capitalism, lights are going off in my head. “Maybe they don’t really know what it is. Maybe they’re under some misconception about what capitalism is, because this characterization of it? A distinction with venture capitalism and vulture capitalism? This bite from Perry doesn’t compute.”
Michael Savage has been one of the worst offenders of all. He made national headlines when he offered Newt Gingrich one millions dollars to drop out of the race so that Mitt Romney would have a clear path to the nomination.
When he announced this offer, Savage wrote the following on his own website....
"Mitt Romney is the only candidate with a chance of defeating Barack Obama, and there is nothing more important than that for future health, safety, and security of the United States of America"
So why are these conservative talk show hosts defending Mitt Romney so furiously?
I think now we know.
It is all about the money.
When you have enough money, you can get conservative talk show hosts to promote an extremely liberal candidate.
Yes, of course Bain Capital does not "control" what these talk show hosts say.
Yes, of course some of the talk show hosts toss some light criticism at Romney from time to time.
But they simply do not go after Romney like they should be.
The truth is that Mitt Romney is really a Democrat that is masquerading as a Republican. When you closely examine his record, he is very similar to Obama.
There is no way in the world that any self-respecting conservative should ever cast a single vote for him.
But right now Mitt Romney is running away with the race for the Republican nomination.
If Republicans can be fooled this badly, is there any hope for the future of the Republican Party?

While we may hope that Georgia will be the beginning of the end of the line for the Obama campaign, motions to quash and vicious legal push back by Team Obama are a given. Georgia Judge Michael Malihi has ordered Obama’s attorneys to appear in court January 26 holding that, according to state law, every federal and state candidate must prove eligibility for office – including Barack Obama.
Barack Hussein Obama II, has some of the highest-rent attorneys in the country working tirelessly to keep the question of his eligibility for office out of court. And no wonder, because whether he was born in Hawaii or not, it can be compellingly argued under law that according to binding precedents laid out by the Supreme Court, Barack Hussein Obama II does not qualify as a natural born Citizen.
The U.S. Constitution very clearly requires, in a unique usage and application of the term, that the president must be a “natural born Citizen” to be eligible for the nation’s highest office. “Natural born Citizen” is demonstrably held by the Founders in Article II, Section 1 as distinct and different than “Citizen” and even “native born Citizen” – that is, born under jus soli, on native soil.
Documentary evidence shows that in the Founding era, the common law view was that a natural born Citizen was that person born within United States territory to parents who were themselves United States Citizens.

Nearly one hundred years after the Constitution was ratified, in the 1875 unanimous Supreme Court ruling of Minor v. Happerset, the Supreme Court explicitly held a “natural born Citizen” to be a Citizen whose parents were both U.S. Citizens at the time of the person’s birth.
This finding was, and continues to be, fully consistent with U.S. history in Supreme Court case decisions, and law enacted and enforced by the United States Congress.
This time-honored historical record stands against the strenuous lying, dissembling and countless other Alinsky-esque strategies deployed to discredit the legitimacy and derail the legal efforts of all those Citizens who are raising objections to Obama’s eligibility for office.
By Barak Obama’s own admission, his father was a native of Kenya and was NEVER a U.S. Citizen. Therefore, Barack Hussein Obama II would, under long-standing custom, common law, and Supreme Court precedent, automatically be INELIGIBLE to hold the office of President of the United States.
It is no wonder Barack Hussein Obama II has spent millions of dollars in an attempt to keep the matter of his qualifications for eligibility out of court. But even the most expensive attorneys are no match for a judge who understands the Constitution and the rule of law.
As we reported earlier, a number of Georgia voters filed lawsuits questioning Barack Hussein Obama’s eligibility to appear on the Georgia Presidential ballot. Obama’s lawyers attempted to get the case thrown out, but Georgia Judge Malihi responded with a resounding NO.
In an order written January 3, 2012, Malihi ruled that Georgia state law is very clear – any candidate for federal or state office must meet the qualifications of that office and that Georgia electors have the right to challenge those qualifications in court. As a result, Malihi flatly denied Obama’s motion to dismiss and scheduled a hearing for January 26.
The January 26th hearing should be a blockbuster, as it is the first in the nation that proposes to consider on the merits whether Barack Hussein Obama II is eligible to be President of the United States of America.
But we CANNOT rest now and hope the Georgia case is permitted to hear REAL evidence, and settles all large questions in this murky mess of Obama’s eligibility for office. Even if Obama is ultimately kept off Georgia’s presidential ballot, Obama will only lose 16 electoral votes. While this is an important precedent, and not an insignificant number, we must fight to ensure that many other states follow Georgia’s lead.

In fiscal year 2011, which ended September 30, Uncle Sam spent a record $3.6 trillion, up an inexcusable 4 percent since FY 2010. So much for Obama’s demands for “shared sacrifice.”Obama’s spend-o-rama includes federally funded green jobs that Boskin dismisses as “the leprechaun economy.” The apotheosis of this blarney was last month’s $1.2 billion Energy Department loan guarantee to SunPower Corporation of Richmond, California. Its solar-equipment project promises 15 permanent positions. Cost per job-created: a staggering $80 million.
Even worse, if possible, the Fox Business Network’s Gerri Willis reports that SunPower received this federal largesse even though its share price has plummeted 93.5 percent — from $133.61 (its Dec. 7, 2007, peak) to $8.09 on September 30, when it won Energy’s loan guarantee. SunPower’s market capitalization stood at some $800 million, just below its $820 million debt. SunPower released an earnings warning afterscoring this federal subsidy. The company also faces a class-action lawsuit in which investors claim that it has made false public statements.

You can’t make up this stuff !This kind of fiscal recklessness helped swell FY 2011’s federal deficit to $1.298 trillion, just ahead of FY 2010’s $1.294 trillion in red ink, though behind FY 2009’s record $1.416 trillion. Obama has authorized three consecutive trillion-dollar deficits. Now he demands another $447 billion for Stimulus, Jr.
All of this, Boskin observes, has pushed the federal debt to 67 percent of gross domestic product, the highest since the aftermath of World War II. No wonder Standard & Poor’s downgraded America’s sovereign debt last August 5 — another first.
Obama’s milestone-setting expenditures would be bad enough if they were the spectacularly high price for restoring prosperity. Instead, Obama has impoverished the Republic — for nothing.

Boskin compared snapshots of Obama’s and Pres. Ronald Reagan’s post-recession recoveries, 27 months after each downturn hit bottom. In September 2011, on Obama’s watch, non-farm payrolls had grown 0.6 percent, yielding 841,000 jobs since June 2009. Under the tax-cutting, business-boosting Reagan, non-agricultural employment swelled 8.7 percent, generating 7.7 million new jobs.

In January 2009, economists Jared Bernstein and Christina Romer (Boskin’s Obama administration counterpart) predicted that if Obama’s stimulus passed, “the unemployment rate in 2010Q4 is predicted to be approximately 7.0%, which is well below the approximately 8.8% that would result in the absence of a plan.”
In fact, Obama signed his $840 billion stimulus . . . and unemployment rocketed upward anyway. It peaked at 10.1 percent and now seems stuck at 9.1 percent. Boskin calculates that this 2.1 percent gap between Team Obama’s 7 percent fantasy and the cruel 9.1 percent reality that they perpetrated equals 16 billion foregone work hours. Even if one accepts the White House’s argument that the stimulus somehow “created or saved” 3 million jobs, that equals $280,000 per position — nearly quintuple the $58,510 that an average private-sector employer spends to hire a new employee.
This stagnation now finds 51 percent of Americans too poor to pay federal income tax (a modern record) while 47 percent of Americans receive at least one form of federal transfer payment (an historical high), as dependency on the ever-expanding state expands.
Obama’s stack of bills, Boskin predicts, means higher taxes — and soon. To underwrite Obama’s deficits (as well as those racked up by free-spending, left-wing Republican Baby Bush), top California earners, for instance, could see combined federal and state income and payroll taxes total 70.8 percent of income by 2016. Those earning just $60,000 could pay 52.4 percent to Washington and Sacramento. Non-Californians also should anticipate higher taxes.
“A CEO who got it wrong this many times would be gone by now,” Michael Boskin concluded. Instead, Obama barnstorms campaign events, barks at the rich, and bellows for further federal outlays.
While Americans are stuck in the employment minor leagues, Barack Obama is bound for the Unlimited-Government Hall of Fame.

Tea Party and Republican leaders are blasting the Democratic Party chief after she invoked the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords while scolding the Tea Party for its "lack of civility."
The comments revived a bitter political debate that flared immediately following the January 2011 tragedy. Though Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz did not directly blame the Tea Party for the shooting, conservative groups claimed that was the implication.
In turn, Wasserman-Schultz''s remarks on toning things down ended up fueling the very type of incivility she warned against.
Wasserman-Schultz made that point on her Twitter page, after denying a claim by Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus that she was "blaming the Tea Party for the horrific (Tucson) shooting."
"I'd NEVER politicize Tucson-my close friend was shot. Your comment=lack of civility was talking about," she tweeted.
Still, one of her deputies at the DNC threw himself into the fray -- and ratcheted things up a notch or two in the process.
"Would it kill you folks in the Republican Party to stop making crap up," DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse tweeted.
Then he retweeted a response from Democratic strategist Greg Pinelo, saying: "Actually, it would kill them to tell the truth. So much of their politics is predicated on lies."
Finally, Woodhouse retweeted the following from another politico: "Priebus needs jaws tightened 4 his bs."
Wasserman-Schultz uttered the initial offending remarks during a political discussion in New Hampshire on Wednesday.
Asked about the lack of civility in Congress, she brought up the Giffords shooting.
"We need to make sure that we tone things down, particularly in light of the Tucson tragedy from a year ago, where my very good friend, Gabby Giffords -- who is doing really well, by the way," she said. "But the discourse in America, the discourse in Congress in particular ... has really changed, and I'll tell you. I hesitate to place blame, but I have noticed it take a very precipitous turn towards edginess and a lack of civility with the growth of the Tea Party movement."
She cited the Republican wave in the 2010 congressional elections and lamented the "conduct at those town hall meetings" before the elections.
"I've never seen a time that was more divisive or where discourse was less civil," she said. "What the Tea Party has done is they have taken it to a different level, and so when they come and disagree with you, you're not just wrong, you're the enemy."
The Independence Hall Tea Party Association took issue with the remarks.
"It's obvious that Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz is exploiting the Tuscon tragedy -- in which several bystanders were killed and several more were injured -- for purely partisan political gain," Association president Teri Adams said in a written statement. "Wasserman-Schultz and the Democrats know very well that the perpetrator of the Tucson shooting was an unstable individual with left-wing sympathies, someone whose world views were more Occupy than Tea Party."
The Occupy Wall Street movement, of course, had not yet emerged at the time of the shooting and cannot be blamed either.
Rather, gunman Jared Loughner's writing and comments from those who knew him suggest he did not fit neatly into either a liberal or conservative label.
One former friend said last year that Loughner wasn't on the left or the right.
Adams accused Wasserman-Schultz, by invoking the shooting to lecture the Tea Party, of trying to use the rampage "to discredit and defame a movement that had nothing to with it."
Adams called the comments "extremely despicable" and urged her to apologize and step down as chairwoman.
Priebus did not urge her to step down but did urge her to "apologize immediately for her reckless comments."
The RNC, on its Twitter page, repeatedly accused Wasserman-Schultz of blaming the Tea Party for the shooting.
But Woodhouse rejected the claims. Wasserman-Schultz would "never politicize Tucson. Was discussing civility in politics as transcript shows," he wrote.

Any state who fails to implement a peer mediation program at their school may be held liable for negligence and be subject to loss of state/federal funding immediately, (especially those participating in federal education programs who may face disqualification over incidence(s) of violence at their school i.e., Race to the Top) effective 1/16/12: we do not need another federal law, or another state law, as something that requires years of passage to be recognized, implemented, and then finally upheld. It is crucial that we immediately reverse the trends that have occurred over the past fifteen years: citing Columbine, other mass school shootings, and schools that now operate as gang proving and training ground, instead of institutions of learning. In the 90’s, we saw these problems relegated to inner city schools: instead of addressing the problem by letting local authorities handle it, it began to fester. One need only recall the movies “Dangerous minds” in 1995 and “Light It Up”, 1999 films drawing attention to the systemic breakdown of the family as the governing unit of society, economic hardship, and the culture of innocence undone.
While the seeds were sown years ago for students, we need schools in the United States to recognize the current rapid deterioration in the sanctity of the classroom; classrooms that went from being dedicated to higher learning and being a haven of protection for our youth, that became a pass-thru gate to hell: a fast-track to the streets, guns, drugs, and violence. While we can not control the parents to whom a child is born any more than we can control how they are raised, a child in public school can be given the knowledge to overcome their past and meet a destiny of success, in overcoming life’s challenges and obstacles. Someone who would have little opportunity to educate themselves on their own, given their family’s means to educate their child being slim, may still be given the keys to unlock their future with a public education: to contribute to the good of society as a whole as an adult.
I can not praise our educators enough: those who paved the way before us, who taught us that we would be the movers and shakers of our generation, who would one day rise up to the occasion and put into practice what they taught us! For this very reason, we must remember what they taught us and teach it to the youth, not forgetting how we became the largest educated society in the modern world, being able to go to the college of our choice. We did not attain such enlightenment by means of oppression or in imitation of an existence that is only a pursuit of monetary or economic gain, but one of knowledge and character first. The integrity of the “Race to the Top Program” must be kept with an equal testing of academics which are to be met equally with character; not with cheating or the promotion of cheating, or we never learn anything except to cheat.
Governor Deal’s Proclamation provides issuance that the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is not only a recognized federal holiday, but in 2012, a state credo of conduct. With that in mind, it is with great regret that I draft this Act in Champion’s memory: while Champion was fatally beaten to death at FAMU, his home roots are here in GA as a former graduate of Southwest DeKalb. Southwest DeKalb has always been envied for putting on the best entertaining performances for a local marching band, from raucous park and blows to fly girl dancerettes. No one would have thought when I was in high school, as a 1998 Henry County Honor Graduate, that we would see Southwest DeKalb become a cesspool of gang activity. Even back then, it was understood that the best and brightest black students were in the band and that they were the best the community had to offer as the highest glory of youth, in that many joined the band to escape the streets and the county’s problems.
Something happened that changed the culture of the Southwest DeKalb band/FAMU: every band has little groups of friends and adolescent proving rituals, but most people in band in general do not go along with anything that involves physical harm or mimics the jock culture of football players and popular kids at school, with hazing in high school and rush in college. The Red Dawg Order is what changed Southwest DeKalb, turning bullies into murderers, and what made FAMU put the program over the lives of students: the use of codes of silence, gag orders, paid membership, beat-ins, and in Champion’s case, a fatal retaliation or retribution of some sort, ended a brilliant young man’s life. The Red Dawg Order is similar to what is known in the military as a CODE RED. Champion’s death was senseless and preventable, if only the Band Program’s Director had heeded another complaint made earlier in the week by a female student. With a peer mediation program, there is a paper trail: before a write-up is issued, formal punishment as decided by a Principal or College President, or before criminal charges are filed. All of which, disciplinary actions and legal imposition compound the bullying problems, increasing the retaliation, which makes it so a person who complains of abuse and speaks out about it, is doubly victimized... or it ends in their death, except when use of peer mediation is present. Conflict resolution is a means so that both sides are heard, thus preventing a verbal altercation, which usually leads to violent confrontation.
Teachers and Administration are to follow this policy in retrospect also: that if students dress like a gang, behave like a gang, and act as a gang, that these young people are engaging in adult base behaviors. Children are our greatest imitators, and they are only enacting and playing out scenarios from their homes and communities at school, some influenced by the media, some a terrible daily reality. The commitment to non-violence and conflict resolution is the solution to prevent it: needless deaths, beatings, and the manipulation tactics/exacting fear that bullies use to create the toxic environments our classrooms and extracurriculars have become.
Implementation of a peer mediation program is therefore; no longer an option, but a requirement by this Act. We can not have any more students die under the misconception that kids are being kids: yes words do hurt, and when feelings are dismissed/unresolved, those feelings become so powerful with children who do not know how to manage or resolve their anger that they become the sounds of preemptive breaking bones. Children are to be taught that engaging in fighting of any kind, can unintentionally lead to death; we can not take for granted their size or strength, nor that force exacted on another child, especially when force is taken for any other reason than to defend oneself. Students need to be taught that there is authority to be respected: officers and medical professionals who are trying to help them are not to be resisted, nor are parents or teachers intervening to prevent their harm or detriment. There are a lot of things that can happen in close hand-to-hand combat, and to raise a hand to anyone, the risk is that it could end in death.
With all that said, there are many free programs and materials available to school administration, wherein a teacher can issue a hall pass for peer mediation/to see the Principal, to schedule PEER MEDIATION as an alternative to writeups or ISS, and that way, students are encouraged to resolve their problems. We are teaching them to do so in the way adults do resolve problems and should resolve them, as a matter of practice and principle. It is not enough to preach morality of habits and good character, if we do not give the tool of peer mediation to use it to uphold the standard of non-violence and healthy conflict resolution.
Peer mediation is hopefully the first and last step that needs to be taken to end bullying. However, in the instance of Champion’s case resulting in death, it may be necessary to disband the organization entirely and eradicating anything that resembles it. Firing the teacher or director does not always resolve the issues between students: dismantling the group, ending the program, or destroying the culture of bullying, like changing the uniforms/having new members or new membership requirements a year after the conflict, usually curtails any violence with the consequences spelled out from the beginning. Let us all do our part in our classrooms and communities to end bullying before it becomes bullying.

Jere Brower, his wife Clara, and his 4-year-old daughter Ana, have a very good reason to believe Texas Congressman Ron Paul when he said people view his supporters as "dangerous."
The 38-year-old Atlanta man and his family have been targeted by militant Ron Paul supporters, one of whom threatened to "kneecap" him, then rape his wife and young daughter. Mr. Brower said he has also received death threats from supporters of Ron Paul.
The trouble started when Brower and some of his Facebook friends decided to have a laugh over Ron Paul's ties to racist and anti-semitic groups.
He wrote a post on Facebook intended to be a joke, but some Paul supporters took it seriously - too seriously.
"If you live in South Carolina and want to have some fun with these Paulbots here is what we do," he wrote.
"Go online and buy or make your very own KKK robe, complete with hood (hood is important). Then get some Ron Paul signs or make your own. Follow Paul around South Carolina and be sure to get photographed by the media. Again, hoods are important. All can be Klansmen for Paul. Black, white, Jewish, Asian - those Paulbots will s**t a brick."

The post has since been deleted, but was noticed by one of Ron Paul's supporters who posted it at La Cross Watchdog Blog, and claimed Brower was engaging in a smear campaign against Paul, a common complaint leveled at anyone who disagrees with anything Paul says.That's when things started heating up.
One of the commenters at the pro-Paul blog suggested contacting Brower's employer - Google - in hopes they would fire him:
We need to report this guy to his employer, "Google" and force them to fire him...! Maybe he'll learn not to mess with the "Paulbots" cause we will mess with his ability to pay his bills and keep him occupied in that way...
Brower told the Spokane Conservative Examiner late Friday evening, however, that Google execs probably would not care that he doesn't support Paul.Other messages, however, were far more onimous.
"It'll be funny when they get shot," wrote one Ron Paul supporter.
Another wrote:
It will be hilarious after they get beat up by on lookers. It seems like a South Park episode. Remember when the town people wanted to get rid of the rich black people? They called them richers and dressed in white robes and burned small little ts in their yards? Yea, these kids wil look really silly.
But other supporters went off the deep end.Brower said that he received a number of threatening emails and messages from angry Ron Paul supporters before adjusting the settings on his phone so as not to receive any more messages.
One of the messages read:
You are a f*****g idiot a*****e. TO stoop as low as I see you are willing is enough to gag a maggot. Keep up the s**t and drive this country into a civil war you f*****g moron piece of human trash. How about I come on over. Maybe, I will start by kneecapping you with my HK 45. Then, while you wither in pain, I will give your wife the best f*****g she ever had. I will treat her nice. Then, maybe your daughter needs to become a real woman. How would you like that. It is not too hard to find out where you live you neocon f**kwad.
Brower then filed a complaint with the DeKalb County Police, and said he contacted the FBI.No one was available for comment at the DeKalb County Police Department as of this writing.
Brower, a retired Army Captain who served four tours in Iraq, said there was a time he seriously considered supporting Ron Paul.
"I took a good hard look at Ron Paul," he said, but after hearing racist messages and witnessing disrespectful behavior at gatherings of Ron Paul supporters, he thought twice.
Brower's wife, Clara, is Asian, and the talk againt interracial marriage bothered him. He said he began looking into the controversial newsletters that have dogged Paul's career for years and went to other meetings to learn more.
But, he said, the more he was exposed to Paul's militant supporters, the more concerned he became.
"Good and bad - everything comes in different colors," he said.
The two-time Bronze Star winner says he is not too worried and can take care of himself.
But the threats against his family have him concerned.
Fortunately, Georgia has enacted laws against cyberstalking, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Cyberstalking is the use of the Internet, email or other electronic communications to stalk, and generally refers to a pattern of threatening or malicious behaviors. Cyberstalking may be considered the most dangerous of the three types of Internet harassment, based on a posing credible threat of harm. Sanctions range from misdemeanors to felonies.

Recently a friend told me he supports Ron Paul for president because "he plans to end the phony, evil, imperialistic War On Terror and end the War On Drugs." I told my friend that Dr. Paul can easily afford to make those claims precisely because he knows he will never have to back them up. He knows those claims are wildly popular with a growing number of people who are frustrated with the limitations of the two party system which offers no remedy for those twin atrocities.
President Ron Paul would end the war, but refuse to provide long term government medical, psychiatric and financial help to war veterans and their families. He would make all drugs legal, yet refuse government funding of drug addiction education, prevention and recovery programs. If our allies in England or France were to be invaded or attacked by Russia or China, President Paul believes it's none of our business, we should only protect our own country.
But he will not get elected to the presidency. The Republican Party will not allow him to be their standard bearer for that reason alone, not because "he plans to end the phony, evil, imperialistic War On Terror and end the War On Drugs," but because they know he has a snowball's chance on a Death Valley two lane black top on the 4th of July of winning a general election.
He stands for the most important things that the corporate beneficiaries of GOP rule desire: no regulation, no taxes, every-man-for-himself-only-the-strong-survive "free" market rule. Yet his supporters are convinced that he is some kind of rebel and antidote to greedy 1%er corporate plutocracy. They think Dr. Paul's remedy to all of our nation's ills is so simple we've been staring right at it all the time:
Amputate! Cut taxes. Cut spending. Cut education. Cut regulation. Cut consumer, employee and environmental protections. Cut equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws. Cut the UN. Cut out the Federal Reserve. Hell, cut out the whole damn government! This is guaranteed to work, money back if you can catch him with whatever limbs you have leftover.
But he will not win. Because in order to win the presidency, one must win the support of the African American community, which he won't for reasons I will mention below; he won't win Latinos because of his cruel and dismissive attitudes toward immigrants; nor women because of his anti-choice stance and refusal to recognize the need to have and enforce gender anti-discrimination laws; and Gays, because of his homophobic ideas about military service and anti-discrimination laws. He will need these constituencies in order to win, but none of them like him or trust him. It is no longer possible to be elected president in America today by appealing solely to the demographic of conservative and libertarian white men.
Dr. Paul is smart enough to know that he will only see the inside of the Oval Office on the Congressional VIP Tour, so he is free to promise to end the War on Terror in the face of the bellicose generals and corporate titans of the gargantuan, 'president shooting,' Military Industrial Complex.
Dr. Paul knows he will never have to fulfill his promise, so he can swear up and down he will vanquish the profits of well-connected, international drug-money laundering banks, giant security companies that dominate the private prison industry and its attendant manufacturing and assembly slave wage labor force.
Dr. Paul also knows that as president he won't have to disappoint and anger his supporters, who will call him a sell-out and accuse him of 'caving' when he fails to deliver on all of his promises right away due to an intransigent Congress who will block his every move and make it look like his fault.
Dr. Paul, like Ralph Nader knows he is free to call for and promise all kinds of good things that many of us want to see become reality. It is a really good thing to have voices like theirs always out there, reminding the two-partiers what many if not most of us really want. But to actually govern in a democracy, you have to be able to work with and compromise with colleagues. Those two guys have never demonstrated a willingness or an ability to do that.
To even get elected people have to like you, and neither of these guys are all that likable. Ron Paul is unlikable if you are in any of the demographics mentioned above, and Ralph Nader comes off like that puppet who lives in a trash can on Sesame Street.
Ron Paul may or may not have written those racist words in the newsletter bearing his name in a giant font banner on its front page 20 years ago as he claims, but I remain unconvinced that it is his compassion and desire for justice for African American youth that motivates his call to legalize drugs.
And I'm afraid I do believe that this Congressional Representative of the United States Government who hates government so much he wants to be the leader of it, really does believe in, and is preparing for the "coming race war" his newsletter warns about.
I believe this man who would refuse official recognition of the slain civil rights icon whose stone monument will stand on the National Mall, not far from Dr. Paul's seat in Congress, long after he himself has been long dead and forgotten as a minor footnote in history, and who would deny recognition of the truly heroic effort in the face of jail, violence and death of a young woman who refused to give up her seat on the front of a bus to a man like himself, thereby shifting the consciousness and uplifting the soul of a nation….
I believe that this man does believe in his heart that "only about 5% of blacks have sensible political opinions," that "95 percent of the black males in [Washington DC] are semi-criminal or entirely criminal," and "if you have to use a gun on a youth, you should leave the scene immediately, disposing of the wiped off gun as soon as possible," and that after the Los Angeles riots, "order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks."
If he did not write these things and does not think them himself, if Ron Paul is so libertarian that he won't even police people who use his name, if his movement is filled with incompetents and opportunists, then what kind of a president would he make?

Now that they’re paying attention to him, some observers kinda sorta like what they see.
Michael Gerson regards him as the second coming of compassionate conservatism, something about which he knows a thing or two.
The Catholic (and increasingly Protestant) approach to social ethics asserts that liberty is made possible by strong social institutions — families, communities, congregations — that prepare human beings for the exercise of liberty by teaching self-restraint, compassion and concern for the public good. Oppressive, overreaching government undermines these value-shaping institutions. Responsible government can empower them — say, with a child tax credit or a deduction for charitable giving — as well as defend them against the aggressions of extreme poverty or against “free markets” in drugs or obscenity.
This is not statism; it is called subsidiarity. In this view, needs are best served by institutions closest to individuals. But when those institutions require help or protection, higher-order institutions should intervene. So when state governments imposed Jim Crow laws, the federal government had a duty to overturn them. When a community is caught in endless economic depression and drained of social capital, government should find creative ways to empower individuals and charities — maybe even prison ministries that change lives from the inside out.
This is not “big government” conservatism. It is a form of limited government less radical and simplistic than the libertarian account. A compassionate-conservative approach to governing would result in a different and smaller federal role — using free-market ideas to strengthen families and communities, rather than constructing centralized bureaucracies. It rejects, however, a utopian belief in unfettered markets that would dramatically increase the sum of suffering.
David Brooks also likes what he sees, albeit not quite for Gerson’s reasons.
I’m delighted that Santorum is making a splash in this presidential campaign. He is far closer to developing a new 21st-century philosophy of government than most leaders out there.
One of Santorum’s strengths is that he understands that a nation isn’t just an agglomeration of individuals; it’s a fabric of social relationships. In his 2005 book, “It Takes a Family,” he had chapters on economic capital as well as social capital, moral capital, cultural capital and intellectual capital. He presents an extended argument against radical individualism. “Just as original sin is man’s inclination to try to walk alone without God, individualism is man’s inclination to try to walk alone among his fellows,” he writes.
Communities breed character. Santorum argues that government cannot be agnostic about the character of its citizens because the less disciplined the people are, the more government must step in to provide order.
His political philosophy is built around the Catholic concept of subsidiarity — that everything should be done at the lowest possible level. That produces a limited role for Washington, but still an important one….
Santorum understands that we have to fuse economics talk and values talk. But he hasn’t appreciated that the biggest challenge to stable families, healthy communities and the other seedbeds of virtue is not coastal elites. It’s technological change; it’s globalization; it’s personal mobility and expanded opportunity; it’s an information-age economy built on self-transformation and perpetual rebranding instead of fixed inner character. It is the very forces that give us the dynamism and opportunities in the first place.
Santorum doesn’t yet see that once you start thinking about how to foster an economic system that would nurture our virtues, you wind up with an agenda far more drastic and transformational.
If you believe in the dignity of labor, it makes sense to support an infrastructure program that allows more people to practice the habits of industry. If you believe in personal responsibility, you have to force Americans to receive only as much government as they are willing to pay for. If you believe in the centrality of family, you have to have a government that both encourages marriage and also supplies wage subsidies to men to make them marriageable.
If you believe social trust is the precondition for a healthy society, you have to have a simplified tax code that inspires trust instead of degrading it. If you believe that firm attachments and stable relationships build human capital, you had better offer early education for children in disorganized neighborhoods. If you want capitalists thinking for the long term and getting the most out of their workers, you have to encourage companies to be more deeply rooted in local communities rather than just free-floating instruments of capital markets.
It goes almost without saying that Brooks doesn’t like Santorum’s “culture war” rhetoric, but it seems to me that the fork in the path–one way leading to hyper-individualism and the other to community–is situated in our most intimate relationships. If we favor individuality and choice there, it’s hard to resist it elsewhere, and hard to foster the kind of community Brooks seems to like. On this point, Gerson is probably closer to Santorum than Brooks is.
But Brooks’s embellishment of Santorum’s agenda–his “far more drastic and transformational” variation on Santorum’s theme–strikes me as precisely the sort of temptation that Gerson and his colleagues couldn’t effectively resist the last time around. The willingness of President Bush (in his better moments) to spend money to shore up civil society–making it perhaps less necessary to spend money down the road, as the promise of the “ownership society” was fulfilled–was taken as an opportunity by those not invested in that “limited” project (I have in mind here both the conventional Republicans in the Bush White House and the pork-barrelling Republicans in the House and Senate) to open the federal purse with relative abandon.
To be sure, Republican big spenders are pikers by comparison with their Democratic counterparts, but that’s not the issue here. Compassionate conservatism became, in the Bush Administration, an excuse for fiscal indiscipline. Would a Santorum presidency be any different? I’m tempted to say it would, if only because the fiscal hole we’ve dug ourselves is so much deeper. But, having been chastened by my past enthusiasms, I’d want to hear more from Senator Santorum about fiscal discipline before I could engage with his candidacy.
Both Brooks and Gerson, by the way, have doubts about whether Santorum can beat Romney, let alone Obama. So do I. And if there are still options when the time comes for me to cast my ballot, that consideration will loom very large.

I think this spying on Americans by the Obama Administration is outrageous! What do YOU think?
The Federal Government is spying on you and NOT for national security reasons! If they wanted to know how the citizens feel about something (see below) why not an opensurvey instead of spying!???!!
But it gets worse: WE PAID for it!!! We are now paying – by our tax dollars - for our government to spy on us for reasons unrelated to national security!
But it gets worse: Homeland Security didn’t even do it themselves! They hired a private contractor! So we paid Homeland Security their salaries and they then went out with our tax dollars and hired an outside firm to spy on us for a non national security reason.
And guess how much it cost taxpayers? Read the article and you will be really, really angry.
And here are more questions: who at Homeland Security authorized the spying? the paying of a private contractor?
This is a bit like Solyndra in that buried deep in our government are people wildly spending our tax money for ridiculous reasons with absolutely no accountability.

Federal Contractor Monitored Social Network Sites

WASHINGTON — The Department of Homeland Security paid acontractor in 2009 to monitor social networking sites — like Facebook, blogs and reader comments on a news article — to see how the residents of Standish, Mich., were reacting to a proposal to move detainees from Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, to a local prison there, according to newly disclosed documents.
While it has long been known that the department monitors the Internet for information about emerging threats to public safety like a natural disaster or a terrorist attack, the documents show that its Social Networking/Media Capability program, at least in an early stage, was also focused on “public reaction to major governmental proposals with homeland security implications.”
A department official said Friday that the social network monitoring program did not produce reports about public opinion, but instead focused exclusively on monitoring crises like hazardous material spills, shooting incidents and natural disasters.
Still, the newly disclosed documents show that in August 2009, during an early test of the program, a contractor compiled reactions among residents of Standish, Mich., to the short-lived detainee proposal. It found that most people “were opposed to the plan,” arguing it could make the community a terrorist target, but that others characterized these concerns as “hysteria.”
To produce the report about Standish, the contractor used “Facebook, Twitter, three different blogs and reader comments” on an article on The Washington Post’s Web site, highlighting “public sentiments in extensive detail,” according to a summary of the report that was included as an example in a “Social Networking/Media Capability Analyst Handbook” dated February 2010.
Asked about the Standish report on Friday, department officials provided a series of explanations. After initially accepting it as something produced by the program, an official later said the report was instead created by a contractor as a sample during a period when the social networking component of its media monitoring program was still being designed. It started on a small scale in January 2010 and expanded the following June.
Chris Ortman, a department spokesman, acknowledged that the report was included in the February 2010 handbook, but he said it was there “only as an example of a weekly report format.” No such report on public sentiment was ever distributed as a working document of the department’s National Operations Center, which runs the monitoring program, he said.
He added that the handbook had since been revised and no longer included that example because it “does not meet our operational requirements or privacy standards,” which “expressly prohibit reporting on individuals’ First Amendment activities.”
The report about Standish residents was part of nearly 300 pages of documents about the monitoring program obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by the Electronic Privacy Information Center, a nonprofit advocacy group.
Ginger McCall, director of the group’s Open Government Program, said it was appropriate for the department to use the Internet to search for emerging threats to public safety. But, she said, monitoring what people are saying about government policies went too far and could chill free speech.
“The Department of Homeland Security’s monitoring of political dissent has no legal basis and is contrary to core First Amendment principles,” she said.
